Finn stared at himself in the mirror as he fixed his tie, trying breathe in calmly but found it difficult since nervousness was beginning to affect him a bit too much.

He was most definitely nervous before in any circumstance he would have to be nervous in but this time, he was distraught to the point where he didn't even want to go to the dinner anymore.

The nerves were becoming overwhelming and it made him question himself and what he wanted to do. He then took a deep breath in and turned around, walking to the counter beside his bed to grab his phone that was charging.

He picked it up and viewed the lock screen to see the time, 7:38 P.M, and also to see a message from Sami that read:

Sami: I'm on my way to your room.

It was sent five minutes ago and he was pretty sure that Sami would knock in a couple of minutes since he only stays on the 3rd floor while Finn stays on the 5th. He unplugged his phone from the charger, tossing the wire onto the floor before sliding his phone into his pocket.

He went to walk back to the mirror but before he reached it, the doorbell rang along with rhythmic knocks which only signaled that it was the man he was waiting for.

Finn walked to the door and unlocked the door, swinging it open to reveal Sami with his usual, cheerful grin.

"Hey, man." He greeted before Finn stepped out of the doorway and allowed him to walk inside. He stepped inside and observed the room as Finn closed and locked the door, afterward turning around to see his friend walking and sitting down on his bed.

Sami's eyes looked at his and he gave him a smile, "So are you ready for tonight?" He asked, starting a conversation up and Finn shook his head, shrugging his shoulders.

"No."

His response was half serious and half playful, but Sami took it in the most serious way, "Seriously?"

"Yeah, I am. I'm honestly so nervous right now." He admitted, exhaling a nervous breath and Sami let out a laugh.

"Aww, you're just nervous 'cause you and Sasha are going out for the first time together since a thousand years ago." He joked as he clapped his hands together.

A chuckle slip past Finn's lips as he walked back to the mirror to see if he looked alright, "Shut up." He told him in a light-hearted manner which made Sami laugh. "But you're right. I don't want to mess up anything." He continued while fixing his tie a bit.

Then, he heard Sami scoff, loudly, which made Finn turn to look at him to see that he had his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed, "Finn, c'mon. There's nothing you're going to mess up so stop worrying."

Finn rolled his eyes and turned back to the mirror, proceeding to fix himself, "You're going to embarrass yourself if you continue thinking that you're going to mess everything with the thing you say, Finn." Sami added to his previous statement due to his friend's reaction.

Finn let out an annoyed, quiet sigh as Sami continued, "I know you still like her or whatever," Finn then quickly turned back to him, shocked at what he said.

He never told Sami about the way he felt about Sasha nor has he even mentioned her name to him so many times that he would catch on to something. He just thought he rather keep his feelings to himself unless he needed solid advice from someone.

He narrowed his eyes in confusion and Sami nodded, crazily, "Yeah, I know about you and her. I have eyes, you know? I'm not blind," He pointed at his eyes before sighing, "You make it so obvious too." He commented with a slight chuckle before Finn turned back to the mirror.

"But that's not the point."

Sami stood up from the bed, "You have to put your worries aside and act like your usual self around her. You're going to embarrass yourself if you continue worrying yourself." He finished off, buttoning his suit jacket close as he dug into his pocket and took out his car keys.

Finn let out a breath since he knew he was right and that he had to follow what he said for tonight to be good.

He made sure he looked good before Sami spoke up, "Stop fixing yourself and let's go." He sucked his teeth in playful annoyance before turning around to him.

A sudden thought came to mind and Finn's eyes widened, "Damn, I have nothing to give her." He spoke, earning a confused look from Sami.

"What?"

Finn sighed, "I forgot to get her flowers." He told him and Sami snapped into a realization as he forgot to do that as well.

Then, a lightbulb came apparent in his head before he raised his hands at Finn, "Wait here." He gestured to give him a second with his finger before running out of the room.

Finn narrowed his eyes in a confused way before sitting down on his bed. He waited a few moments for Sami to barge back into the room with two roses in his hands. He was holding them just below where the thorns were as he reached out his arm to give one of them to Finn.

Finn gave him a look of confusion, "Where did you get it from?" He asked and Sami's lips curved into a smile, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Magic." He responded in a joking manner and still with a cheesy smile on his face.

Finn laughed at his friend's childish behavior before gladly accepting it, "Thank you," He trailed off once he felt that the stem of the rose was drenched in water. He looked up at Sami and shrugged at Finn, "I actually got it from a vase down the hall. Sorry."

A chuckle escaped Finn's lips as he shook his head. Sami joined in on the chuckle before both of them walked to the door and left the room, not knowing what to expect of the night that lies ahead of them.
