The smell of alcohol triggers the alarms in my brain; it screamed danger and trouble. It resonated through the halls of my senses, "poison!" they all panicked. Yet my lips tasted the poison, soon my whole body craved it. It burned my insides, and it spread like wildfire through the once green pastures of my system. Euphoria hugged me tightly; unbeknownst that it was its way of saying goodbye, because it knew, I'd face death without dying.
