Chapter 7

Zoe's POV
I'm so nervous to tell Alfie the news! What is he going to do? He might freak or he might just not talk to me for like a week! I'm panicking too much. But I'm so nervous! I felt my breathing get heavier and heavier. Soon, it was hard to breathe and I couldn't swallow. My breathing got even heavier and I was so so scared about what might happen to me!
As I was just about to faint, I saw Alfie dart into the room.
"Zo? Gorgeous? NO! This can't be happening again! Don't do it to me again, Liccle one!" I heard Alfie shout.
Alfie's POV
I saw Zoe start to close her eyes. She was sweaty and claggy. I knew she had been thinking too hard. But, what was she thinking about? I dialled 999 and drove Zoe to the hospital.
About an hour later, Zoe opened her eyes and I could hear her say something however I couldn't quite make it out.
"Say that again, Liccle one. I couldn't quite hear."
"I,I need to tell you something, Gorgeous. I don't know whether you'll be very happy however I'm gonna say it anyway," she began. "I'm p,pregnant," Zoe whispered.
"What?" I said, putting on a angry voice just to annoy her.
"Don't be mad, please, Alf."
"I'm just kidding! It's great news! We're gonna be parents! Isn't it great! Wait, is the baby okay?"
"I don't know! The doctor hasn't been in so she didn't said say."
"Speak of the devil!"
"I've did an X-ray on you and I've got some news!" the doctor said.
"Is the baby okay?" Zoe asked. I could sense that Zoe was anxious. I was just as anxious as her.
"The baby is fine!"
I saw Zoe's body calm down because she was so tense. I was so relieved that I ran over to Zoe and gave her a huge cuddle. I was so happy that the baby wasn't hurt. Life was perfect!
