"W-wow." Dino said in amazement, as he stared at the small, corner building.
The pleasant smell of freshly, baked goods were flowing out from the open cracks of windows, luring in customers happening to pass by.
Jinhee, who was standing beside him, gazed proudly at the view.
"Yup, this is heaven's bakery, alright." She nods. "Home of the moist, angel cakes and mouth-fluttering, sweet breads." She lets out a chuckle.
"Also well-know of their splendid air conditioning and heating systems during the warm and cold seasons."
Dino unknowingly nods, too, thinking that her comparison to a peaceful place was almost too good to be true. The thought of her bringing up air conditioning also brought up his mood even more.
"Well, let's go inside, it's really hot out." She pulls open the door and lets Dino pass first.
"You first, Dino darling." She says suavely, gesturing him to go inside.
Dino nods his head, quietly thanking her, before heading into the bakery shop.
The interior of the store was very simple. The tiled walls and ceiling were a soft white, as well as the walls were nicely accented with exposed red bricks to give an urbane yet casual style. There were small lamps dangling above the tables and chairs, some of which were taken at the moment by chattering customers.
Jinhee says to Dino, "Okay, mother natures suddenly wants to hit me up, so I'll be in the ladies room for a bit." She pats him on the shoulder then gives a small shove, making him stagger forward into the growing line of people. "I trust you'll be able to survive by yourself for the time being!"
"Jinhee, I don't think Iー" Dino turns to Jinhee, only to his dismay to find her dusty outline leading to the ladies room.
"ーcan do this by myself.." He finishes with a deflated sigh, lowering his head.
"Why is this happening to me." He complains. "I hardly even talk to people, yet I'm left by myself by some girl to fend for myself in vain."
The line slowly moves up, and Dino is left to wait, constantly sighing and complaining quietly to himself.
