Patrick's POV:
After spending some time in the arcade, we decide to leave and walk around some more.
"Where do you guys want to go now?" I ask, looking at them.
"Can we go to Victoria Secret?" Penny and Jade ask.
"Um, I guess you guys can go in." I say.
"Can you come with us Dad?" Penny asks.
"Why?" I ask, looking at them.
"Please?" Penny says, a big smile on her face.
"Alright, I'll go in with you guys." I say while smiling too.
We get to the enters and I look at Pete, Joe, and Andy.
"You guys ready to go in?" I ask them.
"Oh, we are not going in there." Pete says.
"How come?" I ask them.
"Penny wanted you to go in." Andy says.
"We will be in GameStop." Joe says.
"Alright." I say.
"Have fun." Pete says.
"Thanks." I say laughing.
"You're welcome." Pete says as they walk away.
As we go in, Penny and Jade go look at some shirts and jackets. I walk around, feeling nervous. As I walk, I bump into a woman.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry." I say, helping her pick up some stuff she dropped.
"No, it is okay. Thank you for helping me pick up this stuff." She says. Her voice sounds so familiar. I look up to look at her.
"Carrie?" I say, sounding happy.
"How do you know me?" She asks, looking up at me. "Patrick?" She says, hugging me.
"How are you doing?" I ask her after she stops hugging me.
"I'm good. What are you doing in Victoria Secret?" She asks.
"I'm here with my daughter and her friend." I say.
"Your daughter?" She asks.
"Yeah, Penny. She is thirteen years old." I say, smiling.
"Patrick, I didn't know you have a daughter." She says.
"Yeah, she was put up for adoption." I say, looking down.
"Oh, I see. Where is she?" She asks.
"Hey Dad." Penny says, walking to me.
"Penny, this is Carrie. She is a old friend of mine." I say.
"Hello Carrie." Penny says.
"Hello Penny." Carrie says smiling and hugging Penny. Penny seems to like Carrie, I'm happy she does. I also like Carrie.
