Hatred Or Love?

Chapter 3

One day you received a phone call with an unknown number either way you still answered it.

"Hello? Who is this?" You ask.

"Hello! I'm the one who replaces you here in this bloody company. Would you like to work in here again? The CEO of this bloody company wants to hire you here again."

"Hmmm.... Let me think, NO! Give me a bloody valid reasons to come back on that bloody company, you git!"

"Give you a valid reasons to come back here? Okay, well, the CEO himself is begging me to accept you once again here in this awesome place and also your co-worker in here is missing you as hell. It would be awesome to have you as one of my co-worker."

"Give the phone to the CEO so I could cinfirm that you are telling the truth about the CEO wanting me back there after firng me and replacing me to such a jerk like you."

"Sure why not. Hey chief! She said she wants to talk to you personally!"

'He clearly doesn't have any manners and he actually called him like its nothing!' You whispered. You know you're gonna accept this proposal 'cause you wanted to see that man's bloody face again. You are still holding grudge on him after putting you in such a horrible situation.

"H-hello? I would like to have you back in our company it would be my greatest gratitude to have you back. I'm sorry that I have fired you once." The CEO said.

"It-it would be my pleasure to be b-back in that company. Thank you very much."

"Would you like to start working tomorrow or next week."

"I would gladly work tomorrow. That would certainly lovely!"

"Thank you. See you soon Christine."

After the call ended, you put down your phone on your bedside table. It was early that morning when they called you, you were still asleep when they called, they ruin your day but it still makes you happy  that you would be bqck on that company.

You go down stairs to find Laula and Nathan in the living room. Yes, they are still together, yes, they are still dating and yes, someone is getting irritated now, just kidding!

"What are you two doing this early?" You ask.

"Nothing, we were just talking about, nevermind, I was just about to leave when you suddenly came." said Nathan.

"Its okay Nathan you can go now." She said softly.

You wave goodbye to him and take a sit just when he close the door. You were curious about what they are talking so you ask about it.

"So what are you two talking about this early morning?"

"Just nothing, I just invited him over to have some coffee..."

"It's just 7 o'clock in the morning... he must be irritated if you wake him up that early."

"Really!? Maybe I could buy him some gift to make him happier like for a bit. But still he looks very handsome this early morning, he still presented himself very neat and tidy!"

Your friend have fallen for him from head to toe like for real! But you still have something to tell her you were both happy and sad about it because your leaving some new friends behind that you have make with when you were only newbie in there. They were kind enough to help you step by step, to guide you every project your making with, with them. So gather all your strength to say to her about both the good news and bad news.

"Hey, so the CEO of the company that I have work on in the past called me this morning. He said that he would like to have me back in that company..."

"What did you say?" She ask.

"I said that it would be my pleasure to be back there, and that I would start working tomorrow."

"Well, that's great now you got two jobs at the same time!"

"I can't overwork myself, so I would be leaving the journalist for now. Can you please call your boss so I could talk to her..."

"Can't you just split yourself into two so that you could be there, both in your work, at the same time?"

"That's stupid..."

"Fine if you say so... By the way if you got fired again we will be in here waiting for you to come back. You always do that to us if you find someone new you would just leave us behind and when you get hurt there you would come running to us again needing some help to get a job..."

You sigh in disbelief knowing that your friend is overreacting again. Well, it took her by suprised when you said you were leaving. You just work there for like a month!

When your friend called her boss there was no answer, she called her again there was still no answer. At the third time, someone answered it but no one was talking. Your friend face you.
