"Do you have a problem with me?" I asked pushing a girl to the wall. She shook her head slowly. "Ella! Leave that poor gay girl alone!" a friend yelled through the hallway. "You're lucky i'm dating your brother otherwise I would've hit you already." I said smiling. I walked away and the next day came by. "For this art project, you will be assigned a partner, look on the door at the end of class to see who your partner is." the art teacher explained while people were packing up to leave for the day. I got up then adjusted my glasses and flipped my light brown hair out of my face. "NO! WHY?! I DON'T WANT TO TURN GAY!" I yelled inside my head frustrated. "I won't cause any problems I promise...." the girl said her wavy blonde hair covering her face. I rolled my eyes. The next day I was at Swim Practice and the girl waited for me sitting on the bench outside the gate. "Ella, what's her name anyways?" My friend asked handing me my towel as we finished swim practice. "Her name is Angela" I responded while walking away. I grabbed Angela's arm and we started walking to the parking lot. "I don't understand how you're even gay, like you look like a model pulled out of a teen magazine." I said to her. She didn't say anything but just smile a little. "Cmon! I got a football game I need to get to!" My boyfriend Zac yelled pulling up to the curb in his dark red Mustang. We got into the car and he dropped us off at my house. I brought her inside to my bedroom and closed the door behind her. "You can sit..." I said laughing as she just stood there. She sat on the bed and got out her notebook. " Ima go change real quick" I said and went into my bathroom and changed into my pjs. I came back and she was still sitting there all tensed and shy. I took a deep breath then sat next to her. "Lets begin" I said smiling softly. "Why do you think i'm a bad person?" she asked , her soft blue toned eyes staring into mine. "You're gay..." I responded. "How is that bad though?" she asked picking at her cheer skirt. "Because you aren't supposed to be born like that, God said in the bible that you will go to hell." I answered , my body becoming tensed. "Did you miss that part where God said that we are all equal? Just because somebody is different doesn't mean you are bad person. Like satan was an angel before he became a devil.." she said looking straight at me. " Have you even tried it to even judge gay people?" she added on. " No...plus I don't think I would want to sin, I wasn't raised to like girls." I said fiddling my fingers. "I think we should continue this tomorrow.." I said looking down at the ground.
