Everything went great this morning, mom made breakfast, I ate and just headed to school. This was going to be different of course. Things will happen, life changes for the better.
"You're sure, your ready for this?" My best friend asked as we were walking down the hallway. "Yeah," I say as we entered the classroom. As I walked into the classroom someone caught my eye, a new kid. Ha, good luck to him.
Class ended a few minutes ago, usually class doesn't end that fast. I saw the new kid walk out of the classroom concerned where he goes to next. We made eye contact for a few seconds, he gave me a shy smile. Aww cute.
I saw my best friend walk to her locker to grab her stack of books. "So, I saw you eying that new kid there." She says as she puts some of her books in her locker. "Pff, no I wasn't." I continued.
He is kind of cute though. I mean for a guy like that. Oh my goodness.
Second period wasn't bad, there were some original students in my class that I knew from freshman year.
Besides the new kid, he hasn't said a word.
It was the first day and there was already a party just my luck. I wonder if that new kid is gonna be there.
I went home and got dressed because my best friend made me go and as always I can't let her down. I just put on a random dress and some heels with just similar makeup.
Once I got into where the party started my best friend was already lost in the crowd trying to find her boyfriend.
"Truth or dare game everyone!" A girl shouted as some people joined around her.
I saw the new kid he looked a lot different from his outfit at school today. He looked hotter. Ugh! Stop it Cameron get a hold of yourself!
He even joined the circle for the game, oh brother.
"Ooo... New kid decided to join." A girl says.
"Yeah, trying something new." He replies.
"Alright well go with you first new kid, be fore we start what's your name?"
"Carlos." He says.
"Well Carlos your going first." She says. "I dare you to kiss that girl right there." Once she said that I looked up to who she was pointing at. Me.
Wait, what? She's serious!
"Okay." Is just his simple reply.
He gets up and walks towards me. I was kind of scared though. My first kiss is going to be taken by this guy.
He kneels down and looks into my eyes as I just stare straight back. He then looks towards my lips. It felt uncomfortable. Someone please help me.
He started to lean in, I didn't do anything but stare. I felt something soft on my lips. I closed my eyes as he starts kissing me. I wasn't realizing that I was kissing back. Do I really like it that bad?
Once he pulled back I fluttered eyes open at the shock that just happened. He stole it from me. I thought this was supposed to be special a special moment. I looked down in embarrassment for the rest of the game.
