It was never the ideal life, never the fairy tale ending which you'd always dream of but instead possibly a nightmare?
Growing up without a mum or a dad was hard, everyone around you seemed to have the perfect life, a family to come home from school with, to play at the park with but none of that even mattered anymore.
Being 17 and living with your brother it was at times nice, you built a close bond and he would always protect you, you were always his number one priority. Yeah you would sometimes argue but isn't that normal? Well, as normal as your life could get.
He regularly took you to the doctors to help you with your depression and anxiety, always by your side, he took the father figure in your life being only 22 he took on a lot. Respect for him wasn't even close to the words you wished to tell him.
You tried to attend school as much as you could but the memories of the accident were far too fresh to attend regularly, coming up to a year and it still felt like yesterday.
The day your parents passed away.
