Author's POV:

Finally they were a married couple now! Although still strangers but were bonded in an unbreakable bond.

After the Nikah the ladies took Madeeha back to her room and Ruman was taken to the stage that was made outside the house. The Wedding didn't took place in any community hall rather in a large area ground.

Ruman and Madeeha were made to sit beside each other on the podium. They were having mixed feelings. Madeeha still had her face covered but could see a blur image of Ruman. She examined his blured physic her eyes were fixed on his face yet it was not at all clear. They took random pictures.

Later they had dinner separately and then it was already 1am and now the bride was suppose to leave for her new house which was known as Rukhsati!

Madeeha was given a thal (a large size plate) that had rice and she was told to throw it backwards using both her hands. She did as she was instructed and then with tears full of emotions love and sacrifice bid goodbye to her old family. She took her dad and mom in a bone crushing hug and cried like hell. She knew it will be hard for her to accommodate with her new family and new life and also knew that from now she is not just a daughter but a daughte-in-law and she also has a lot new responsibilities. She somehow separated herself from her parents and hugged Shabaz, Crystin, Crystal and her aunt.

Ruman was not able to see this. He was feeling bad for the girl who because of him was forced to leave her parents. Madeeha's father took her to Ruman and gave her hand in his. He then hugged both of them and said ,

"I'm giving you my most precious jewel! Never hurt her, she is everything to me and I don't like tears in her eyes!" Hearing this Ruman became more tensed and replied "She is my responsibility now!" He too didn't knew from where did these words came but he was happy that his father-in-law was satisfied with the answer.

Aksa made Madeeha sit in the car and Ruman sat beside her. They didn't talk the whole journey.

They reached home but as the traffic was less they reached 20 minutes earlier. The whole family gathered on the doorsteps to welcome the newly wed couple and especially the new member of their family.

Madeeha was tired she was not able to walk properly in that heavy lehenga. She was about to slip on the steps while she was climbing up to reach the door of the Khan's Palace. It was indeed a Palace.
A large villa which had a Royal look as they belonged to the Royal family and Ruman's grandfather was very perticular about there reputation as well as this villa. It was given to him by his great grand father.

The couple started to move towards the door. Ruman sensed Madeeha's trouble in walking and thought she is not able to look through that Ghunghat (dupatta covering her face). Her heels were making it more difficult to walk and then finally her grip on the floor weakened and she was about to fall on the floor when she sensed two hands holding her tight. One on her waist and the other on her shoulder. It was Ruman. He raised her up and made her stand still, she looked up to him but her Ghunghat disturbed her view.

She tried to walk but her feet ached and she screamed in the least voice possible by her. Ruman heard her scream and also sensed the pain. The family was looking straight to the bride who was fixed a few steps before the entrance. She sighed and then suddenly felt light in her weight.

It took her a second to realise that Ruman picked her up in his arms.

He started to walk towards the entrance with her in his arms. The cousins and whole family started to clap and tease them with all sorts of hooting and comments but for Ruman, Madeeha developed an inner feeling of respect. Ruman was shocked on his sudden change in behaviour, but at the same time he regretted it as although Madeeha wighed close to nothing but that heavy lehenga was the trouble behind everything.

"Bhabhi, already enjoying in Bhai's arms!" Aksa teased Madeeha and she blushed furiously under her ghunghat. They entered the house and Ruman seated Madeeha on the podium made in the center of their Hall.

Ruman received a call and so he went to attend it, the same time her "Mu dikhayi" ceremony began. In which her Ghunghat will be removed from her face but will remain on her head. Each of the family member will have the look of her face and give her a welcoming gift.

She received a lot of gifts and applause for her eternal beauty, but at the same time she was tired.
It was already 2am and the bride was not given rest for a single second. The elders decided to do the remaining rituals next day and for now let the couple rest.

Ruman entered the hall and for the first time ever he saw a face that was bright, elegant, calm but full of worries, eyes that had spark and it was all enough for him to keep staring at her the whole night.
"Ruman, just wait for few more minutes and you will have her all alone." Ravish teased and winked to ayaan and Ruman's face went crimson.

Aksa and Madeeha were listening to the lecture their Badi-ma ( Elder aunt) was giving them on how to be a good wife, when Madeeha caught a continuous gaze on her. She followed it and saw a guy dressed in white and Crimson sherwani. For the first time she saw him. A stranger whom she is married to and then suddenly shifted her gaze as there eyes met each other's at the same time.

"Ruman! Come here!" His grandfather ordered.

"Coming Dadaji!" He replied and started to walk towards him who was standing beside his newly wed bride.
Aksa brought the thal of brooch again.
"Beta," dadaji addressed Madeeha, "Take this brooch and fix it on his sherwani, and from today it's your duty to look after it. You have to apply this brooch on his coat every day without fail, and Ruman, if by any chance Madeeha is not there you will not wear any brooch! Is that clear to both of you?" He completed and they nodded.

Madeeha took the brooch from the thal and Ruman stood right in front of her. She was hesitant to even look up to him but then, decided to match his eyes. She raised her eyes and saw him already looking at her. He sensed her uncomfortability in the situation and gave her a smile. She too smiled and then Ruman shifted a bit forward yet more close to her.

The brooch was heavy and made up of pure diamonds. She took it carefully and approached his top left pocket of the sherwani. She started to pin it there and her heart beat fastened as she could clearly feel his heartbeat under her palm. She by mistake pinched the brooch which finally led to their first conversation.

"Oouch!" Ruman said in a bit pain which dragged everybody's attention to there first ever so close pose.

"I'm sorry!" She said in a hurried voice, yet scared and guilty voice.

"It's okay!" He smiled at her silly gesture and she smiled too. After the brooch was fixed she shifted back and Ruman took his seat beside her.

"Mr. Ruman Khan! Are you planning to sit here whole night?" Humairah teased him to which he reacted innocently and everybody laughed.

"Bro! I'm damn sleepy and so is bhabhi, if you want to sit here then be happy cause I'm taking her to your room." Aksa teased too.

"Not happening sweetie." He replied Aksa with a smirk leaving Madeeha to gave him his first strange glare.

"Shall we?" He asked for Madeeha's hand and she blushed out like a red tomato. She was shocked on how strange was his newly married stranger reacting all of a sudden who saw her first time just a few minutes ago.
