Remember him? For all of you who have read my first art book, Owen was my kitty. He was a Domestic Short Hair and 7 months old. I was at my grandparents house and my dad came to pick us up. He told me that Owen wasn't feeling good. We ate dinner and went home. Owen looked terrible. His stomach was very swollen and he could barley walk. He also threw up a couple times. The next morning, we took him to the vet. That is when I learn that when I was sleeping, Owen had 2 seizures. They ran tests and came back a little bit later with the results. Owen had a virus called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). I started to freak out. FIP is a virus that often occurs in kittens. And there is currently no cure. He wasn't going to live. We had to put him down. You know, I really loved him. I miss him.
