Eenie meanie miney mo, catch the members by their toes. If they scream, don't let them go. Eenie meanie, time for the show.

3rd Person POV

"Ring around the rosy, pockets full of posey, ashes ashes, they all fall down." The other wolves are taking way too long... and she was quickly growing bored. The stupid little alpha was doing nothing but trying to get his arms and legs untied from the ropes on his wrists and ankles. She looked bored, and checked the time on the clock and noticed that it had been almost 30 minutes since she sent the members away. She looked back at the stupid, tied-up Alpha with a smirk, and knew that he wasn't going anywhere, so she jumped up and decided to have a bit of fun with the other wolves. With a slow twirl, her usual black and red dress melted away to reveal a form-fitting Royal Midnight Blue dress that pooled around her knees and spilled down her back like smoke.

With a small twirl to admire her new dress, the usual snap of the fingers, a flick of the wrist and POOF, off she went.

Madelyn found the pack chasing the pure white buck she had sent their way while she was dealing with the dumb Alpha. According to the Big Book of fairy tales the wolves had conjured up and made into a book, (quite stupid of them, most of their tales were waaayy off. ) pure white bucks are supposed to bring a pack great luck if they caught one. It was also said that the person who caught it, along with their mate, was destined to be the next Alpha King and Luna Queen.

So there they were, just chasing this poor illusion down, she looked around the forest for a nook a few trees away, and she settled down, just watching them, for now.

Couples ran, side by side, each pair trying to reach the buck before the others. The pups of the pack not far behind, fighting to please their parents and for the scared buck to be theirs.

"THIS WAY! IT'S GETTING AWAY! WE MUST CATCH IT!"

The blood of the wolves, pushing them beyond their limit. All the hunters trying to catch the prey. In the end, they knew only one would succeed.

It would be her. The one who set the trap, like a spider creating a web, she would catch all her prey.

Madelyn's POV

"Stupid, stupid little wolves. Honestly, so you even realize how easy it is to trick you? Open your eyes and truly look right in front of you." My voice rang throughout the clearing, causing the pack to stop and look around in confusion, growls bursting out from their throats.

I snapped my fingers, freezing the buck in place. Jumping down from my hiding place, I sashayed over to the buck and ran my fingers lightly down its hide. With every stroke from my fingers, the illusion shattered, disappearing like smoke, till nothing but a normal buck stood in its place.

"So, little wolves, I noticed that only one from your pathetic pack is missing, your Alpha. I'm guessing some of you caught sight of it, alerted the others, excluding the Alpha of course. None of you wanted to give him the chance to become more powerful than he is now if that is what you think he is, powerful."

I took a step forward, towards the shaking members and watched them grab their loved ones, pulling them away from me. I sighed and turned around, facing the buck. "You know, I'm not that scary. Your nightmares are only as strong as you let them be." I leaped atop the frozen buck, sitting sidesaddle.
