The next couple of weeks haven't been too terribly bad. Yes, Jamie does keep us awake, but Harry and I have been handling it pretty well. My mom and Anne were coming over tonight to take care of Jamie, so Harry and I could have a night out. I was finishing getting ready when I heard the doorbell ring. Harry called out, "I've got it, love!"

I finished my mascara and walked to the living room where I saw my mother and mother-in-law. I gave each of them a hug and told them, "She'll probably be waking up soon. If she's hungry, I have bottles of milk in the fridge for you to just warm up. If anything happens, just call us and we'll be right back."

The two mothers just laughed and my mom hugged me. She commented, "You forget that I was a mother for 20 years."

I shushed her and Harry took my hand. He asked with a smile, "Are you ready to go, love?"

I nodded and gave each mother another hug before we went out the door. Harry drove us to an Italian restaurant. After dinner, we went to a small club that wasn't very popular yet. Liam, Sophia, Zayn, Perrie, Louis, Miriam, and Niall all met up with us there. After a while, I told Harry, "Why don't you just see if you and the boys could perform a few songs? You all miss it and it's not like fans are going to show up out of nowhere."

He shrugged and went to go talk to the boys, including Zayn. They all went to find the manager and soon enough, they were on the stage. They sang Alive, No Control, Midnight Memories, Little White Lies, and Little Black Dress.

Harry came back off stage and ran into my arms with a grin on his face. I smiled and he told me, "Thank you for suggesting that."

I nodded and we started dancing to the music that started playing. At around midnight, we decided that it was time to go home to our baby girl. I was having withdrawals from holding my baby. We said goodnight to the others and drove home. We got home and changed really quick and relieved our mothers.

September started and I had gotten the hang, for the most part, of being a mother. Harry was going through even more withdrawals from performing and it was obvious; he had been doing it for so long that he didn't know what else to do in life. I tried to give him as much time with Jamie as possible to try and keep his mind off of it. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Harry and I took Jamie out for a walk. We were out for about a half an hour when we ran into a group of teenage girls. They looked our way and then did a double-take. I could tell that they were dying to say something to us, but weren't sure if they should. I greeted, "Hello."

"Hi," they all giggled.

One of the girls asked, "Is that Jamie?"

Harry and I nodded and I lifted up the visor of the stroller. The four girls huddled around the stroller and cooed at her. They all commented on how beautiful she was. One of the girls finally mustered up the courage to ask, "Could we get a picture with you? Even Jamie?"

I nodded and Harry took Jamie out of the stroller. She started to fuss and Harry immediately calmed her down, which made the girls swoon. I took Jamie out of Harry's arms and the four girls, Harry, and I gathered together and a stranger took our picture on one of their phones. They thanked us plenty of times and after I put Jamie back in her stroller, the smallest girl came up to me and wrapped her arms around me. She apologized, "I'm so sorry about your cancer, Evelyn. I don't want you to die. I want you to stay here for Harry and Jamie."

I wrapped my arms around the girl and whispered, "Thank you for saying that. It really means a lot."

She smiled up at me and ran to catch up with her friends. Harry wrapped an arm around my shoulders and we finished our walk.
