I felt down the whole rest of the time at the beach. Honestly I think I'm gaining more than a friendship feeling with JC. I don't know how, or why or why its only now that I feel this way but Its confusing me.
But it in the end its hurting me.
Especially when Lia Butt's in.
We are now meeting Tayler and Kian for lunch at the board walk.
We decided to walk there since we didn't drive to the beach and there was no point to drive somewhere to the boardwalk.
Me and JC walk, my head down in silence.
"Rosie." He clears his throat.
"Yep?" I ask.
"What's wrong?" He stops and I stop with him in the middle of our walking.
"Huh, oh nothing!" I force a fake smile.
I didn't want him to figure out how I felt.
"Rosie, seriously tell me." He demands.
"No JC its nothing." I walk away from him, he grabs the back of my collar of my shirt and stops me.
He looks me in the eyes wanting a real reply from me.
"Stop Justin." I warn.
He let's go and let's me keep walking.
He shrugs.
"You know you can talk to me about anything."
Not this.
"Yeah okay." I say innocently.
We make it to the restaurant and find Kian and Tayler who were already there.
I sit down and scoot to the inside of the Booth across from Tayler.
"Hey" Kian says.
I give a slight wave and JC says hi back, like what an okay person would do.
Tayler bites one of her freakishly long nails I was jealous of. Its something she does when she's nervous.
"Why's she nervous?" JC asks.
He even thinks the same as me.
"I'm freaking out. There's too many people in here!" She says frantically.
Kian wraps his arm around her.
"Calm down I've got you." And with that, she looks completely fine.
Probably the happiest I've ever seen her.
Jc's phone go's off and I read the screen without him seeing.
Lia 🙈: Hey I'm at the fair, want to meet up?
I didn't see what he texted back but considering he told us he had to go, I'm sure it was a yes.
"What was that all about?" Tayler asks once JC leaves.
Kian shrugs.
"I know." I mumble.
"What?" Tayler asks.
"Its Lia." I reply and Kian nods.
"Oh yeah, he's always talking about how much he misses her." I felt my eyes sting.
"Cool." I say calmly.
Tayler looks at me with curiosity.
"Actually this has been fun but I'm going to our hotel room, I kind of want to be alone do you guys mind spending the night in mom and dads hotel room like you have been?" I ask trying not to be rude.
They nod.
"Anything for ya." Tayler replies.
"Thanks." I shrug and grab my purse and run down the board walk bawling back to the hotel.
