The next day at school was a tough one, with all the new security cameras everywhere it's getting harder and harder for the four of us to talk in private at school anymore. Every single hallway and stairwell has at least four security cameras, one for every angle, not to miss anything. Allison managed to find a blind spot in the library. Scott, Stiles, and I head to the library early, just to be safe. Stiles and Scott hide behind a shelf as I pretended to look for a book, waiting for Allison to join us. I catch her scent and move towards their shelf as she hands a tablet to Scott through an opening.

"It's everything Lydia could translate. And trust me, she was very confused." She explains.

"Yeah, what'd you tell her?" I question, reading over some of the information.

"That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." She laughs lightly.

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Stiles announces, causing the three of us to laugh.

"O-oh. Great." Allison nods, trying to control herself.

"Okay, does it say how to find out who's controlling him?" Scott questions.

"Not really." Allison shakes her head. "But Stiles was right about the murderers."

"Yes!" He chest bumps Scott. I roll my eyes as Allison continues.

"It calls the Kanima, a weapon of vengeance. There's a story in there about this South American priest who uses the Kanima to execute murderers in his village."

"All right, see? So maybe it's not all that bad." Stiles says, hopeful.

"Until the bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to." Allison adds.

"All bad. All very, very bad."

"Here's the thing, though. The Kanima's actually supposed to be a werewolf. But it can't be-"

"'Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it.'" Scott reads.

"Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could've told you that myself." I sass.

"What if... It has something to do with his parents? His real parents." Allison suggests.

"Yeah, does anybody actually know what happened to them?" Scott questions.

"Lydia might." I offer.

"What if she doesn't know anything?" Scott questions.

"Well, he doesn't have a restraining order against me, so I'll talk to him myself." Allison shrugs.

"Okay, what do I do?" Scott questions.

"You have a make-up exam, remember?" I remind him, Allison and Stiles nodding.

"Promise me. If he does anything, you run the other way." Scott tells her.

"I can take care of myself." She states, standing taller.

"Allison, if you get hurt while I'm busy with some stupid test. Someone's going to need to take care of me. If he does anything-"

"Like?" She questions.

"Anything... Weird or bizarre, anything."

"Anything evil!" Stiles warns, popping his head through the shelf. Allison rolls her eye, pushing his head back causing him to fall over.

"Let's go Stiles." I laugh, dragging him out of the library. "Did you hear about the underground rave this Friday?" I question, interlocking our hands together as we walk through the halls.
