One Month Later...

"I'm So Sleepy" I Yawned.

"Me Too" Ron Stretched.

"Is Something Wrong With Him? Oh My God Is He Sick? He's Been Crying Non Stop"

"No, Its Good That He Cries He Gonna Have Strong Lungs"

"Are You Sure? I'm Worried"

"That's Normal. You're Gonna Always Worry It's Your Kid Just Relax"

I Sat Back Into The Couch And He Started Crying Again. I Got Up And Ron Grabbed My Wrist Sitting Me Back Down. 

"I'll Get Him You Just Rest For A Minute"

I Nodded And Leaned Back.

"Thank You"

He Went Upstairs And Got Maurice And His Swinger. He Came Back And Placed The Swinger On The Floor And Put Maurice Inside. He Turned It On And He Started Rocking Side To Side. 

"Hopefully He Stay Sleep" I Huffed Closing My Eyes.

"Foreal That Boy Don't Ever Sleep"

I Chuckled Cause He Was So Right. As I Laid Back, He Laid On Top Of Me.

"Wake Up" Ron Shook Me.

I Cracked My Eyes. "Five More Minutes"

"Where's Maurice?"

I Shot Up From My Sleep And Looked At The Empty Swinger. I Stood Up, Panicking.

"Maurice?" I Called Like I Would Get A Answer.

I Ran Around Downstairs Looking High And Low. I Ran Upstairs With Ron Right Behind Me. I Looked In Every Room And I Opened My Parents Door And Ma Was Reading Her Book While Maurice Laid Next To Her Sleeping.

I Fell To My Knees And Bursted Into Tears Holding My Chest. Ma Sat Up And Looked At Me With Concern.

"What's Wrong?"

"I-I Couldn't Find Him And It Scared Me" I Covered My Eyes.

"You Guys Were So Exhausted That Y'all Didn't Even Hear Him Screaming, He Had A Little Fever But I Gave Him Some Medicine And He Fell Asleep"

"Im A Bad Mother Already, How Did I Not Hear Him"

"You Were Just Exhausted Your Not Used To This Lifestyle, That's Every Parent With There First Kid"

She Nodded And Went Back To Reading. I Stood Up And Went To Bed With Ron.

"I Love You Too" I Placed My Hand On Top Of His , As It Was Wrapped Around My Waist.

I Fell Into A Deep Sleep.

"Mommy!" 5 Year Old Maurice Ran To Me.

I Was Picking Him Up From His First Day In Kindergarten. He Ran Into My Arms And I Picked Him Up.

"How Was School?" I Kissed His Cheeks.

"So Fun! I Showed The Class My Superhero Moves"

"Really? That's Great! Did You Learn Anything?"

"Cool. What Names?" I Placed Him In His Seat.

I Got In Myself And Started The Car.

"There's My Friend Kailee, With Her Dad And Mom, Shes 4" He Pointed.

I Looked Over And Almost Had My Eyes Pop Out My Body. It Was Chris And KaRoach With A Damn Kid. He Don't Even Take Care Of Maurice But Have Another Kid.

I Just Shook My Head And Drove Home. I Got Out The Car Along With Excited Maurice. I Looked Up At My Huge Home And Followed Maurice To The Front Door.

"DADDY!!" Maurice Screamed Running Towards Ron.

"Hey Man" He Picked Him And Came Towards Me And Gave Me A Kiss.

When He Backed Up He Had Chris' Head. I Shook My Head, And It Was Back To Ron. I Held My Head And Fanned Myself.

"Roni Said Mama Today" Ron Smiled.

"Yayyyy, Is She Down For Her Nap?"

"Yep, What Do You Want For Dinner?"

"I Want Pizza" Maurice Grinned.

"Pizza Huh?" Ron Tickled Him.

"Pizza Does Sound Good"

"It Does" Ron Smiled.

"I Guess That's Dinner, But Im Gonna Check On My Other Baby" I Walked Up The Stairs And Into Roni's Room.

I Screamed Seeing Chris Holding Roni.

"What's Wrong Mommy?" She Asked.

I Screamed Again Scared, Shes Only 1.

"Yea Babe, How Was Your Day Baby?" Chris Asked.

I Screamed.

I Sat Up Straight My Chest Going Up And Down. Ron Sat Up Rubbing His Eyes.

"You Ok?"

"Yea It Was Just A Dream, Go Back To Sleep"

"I'm Ok I'll Wait Till I Know Your Ok" He Leaned On The Headboard.

I Leaned Back On His Chest And Told Him My Dream.

"Let's Go To Bed It's 3 In The Morning" He Said Adjusting Himself To Be Comfy.

I Laid My Head Back On His Chest And He Wrapped His Arms Around Me.
