Chapter 2- Ashton Eaton

Hey guys. Sorry for not updating on Friday like I planned. We had family friends over for a week and since they were here, I had no time to update. Plus, I left town Saturday and only returned home last night. I also started school today so now I'm barely updating. Hope you don't mind. 

Anyway, enough with the long note, let's get on with the story. Picture above happens to be the person playing Ashton ;) Enjoy!!

Chapter 2- Ashton Eaton

I watch as the crowd groups around a small group of four girls. It's not hard to know who those four girls are. It's the Quadruple Queens Team...or so everyone calls them here at school.

The first and highest of the four is Daniela Mays, the richest and most popular girl in the whole school. Girls admire her and wish to be like her while the guys wish they could date her. Why you may ask?

She has the looks, the body, the reputation, the money, the family, and every other good thing under the sun. What male wouldn't want her? At least, what male wouldn't want what she has to offer? 

Now what about me? I couldn't care less about those traits. Okay maybe only at a certain point. I mainly look for a girl who is nice, respectable, a great personality, and okay, like everyone, at least an appealing appearance.

The next highest in the group is Lindsey Banks, a small but feisty blonde who is almost as rich as Mays since her parents own the most well known banks around town and country. With her innocent look, guys tend to fall down before her feet which is pretty pathetic. Get to know the girl first because she could turn out to be some conniving witch. 

The last two are the Twin Pranksters, Tiffany and Tiana. Their mom own the best fashion industry around and their dad has the best radio station airing. I actually admire their dad and approve of his music style and taste. 

Now these twins don't just befriend anyone for reasons unknown to outsiders like me, but it wasn't really a shock when they made friends with Daniela and Lindsey. I mean, who wouldn't easily befriend the two richest girls in the school?

I just feel a little bad for Mays and Banks because they don't realize how easy it is for people to hide behind masks and suck up to those of higher positions for fame themselves.

I roll my eyes as I make my way past the crowd but before I can make it fully across, a small body crashes into my chest and my hands immediately reach out to steady the female. My eyebrows raise up in surprise when I see it's Miss Popular and Perfect herself- Daniela Mays.

Her long and curled honey brown hair cascades down her back and her hazel green eyes look up to meet my brown ones just as she stutters out a thanks. I quickly take off my shocked expression and put on a playful smirk, my signature look around people here in school.

"Watch where you're going Mays. Don't want to hurt that perfect body in anyway and lose your fans right?" I ask her with a raised brow and a playful smirk before I let go of her and stalk off towards my original destination, science class. Was she checking me out? I smirk again but roll my eyes.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate the girl. She's as nice as they come, despite her having all the fame anyone would want. She's not a Class A female dog most girls in her position would be. She's fairly nice from what I observe from the sidelines. She greets those who are lesser than her on the popular chain and she does great in school...so says the school board.
