Dizzying Heights

Looking at the stars,
Staring at the sky,
Thinking about life,
How quickly it goes by.
Suddenly it hits me,
And I start to cry.
These are some good times,
For once mama didn't lie.
So what's with all this pressure?
Why must I always try?
Dizzying heights, always having to look down.
But keep your head up buddy boy,
Or you're gonna drown.
Don't let this poor fake smile slip into a frown,
Don't be a fool for a king,
Even when handed a dunce cap crown.
You're not a failure,
One day, you'll live the life.
One day, you'll own this town, and be free of stress and strife.
