CLAIRES POV-

First day of the new school, usually you'd expect people to be not bothered or anxious in case they couldn't make many friends, right? But I already knew half the people there so I was looking forward to it! Sort of anyway. However, going college after a long nice holiday isn't the best of things..

In the summer me and Gemma went to Spain, I'm so lucky to have her and make memories with her. It was amazing!! I love summer so much, and we went for two whole weeks. Now, I had my bestfriend with me so I knew I'd be ok. In the morning I went to Gemma's house. We always went school together so we wasn't going to change that in college. I was greeted by her mum, Karen.

'Claire!'

'Hey Karen! You're looking sexayyy' I said, leaning in for a hug.

She checked her appearance in the mirror whilst fiddling with her thrill top. She looked just like Gemma; if I didn't know them, I'd think they were sisters. They both have long brunette hair, and blue eyes, and the perfect complexion. Gemma's mum looks after herself more than anyone else would, she's a makeup artist and has her own salon, which is so cool because both Gemma and Karen have pamper sessions and give me makeovers. 'Haha, thanks Claire Bear. Gemma is running late as usual, she's in her room. I need to go work, tell her to hurry up and breakfast is downstairs'

'Haha, ok bye!' I said and run upstairs.

I loved Karen so much. My mum passed away when I was twelve and she was always here for me, acting like my own mum, she even helped me get through all the girly stuff. I could ask her anything and I spent most nights at their house. 'Gemma come on we're running late!' I said whilst closing the door behind me.

'I'm ready! Good morning to you too' she said, kissing my cheek.

'But we don't want to keep Michael waiting do we?' I winked. Michael is my cousin, and they have a 'thing'. They don't call each other girlfriend and boyfriend, but they are so cute! I mean, Gemma is the prettiest girl I've seen, everyone adores her and all the boys are after her. As for Michael, well he's Michael. He's my only cousin and I couldn't wish for anyone else, he is one of my favourite people, ever. He's never been in mine and Gemma's school so we were both exited. He and his friends are the talk of every school, and to be honest I was excited to meet them.

'Okay, let's go!'

Michael promised us to meet us by the gate. When we arrived, he was there, looking as good as usual. He had his top button undone, and shirt untucked; bad boy look and all. He ran his hand through his golden hair and cheekily smiled at us.

'Hey girls! First day of college' he said, putting his arm round both of us. Gemma blushed.

'Where do we get our timetables?'

He took out three pieces of paper from his pocket. 'Oh, I came early so I got our timetables.'

We compared our timetables. I was in Gemma's biology, chemistry, personal education, and physical education class, and I was only in Michael's biology class. After comparing, we went to assembly. It was two hours long; they told us about the rooms and where each class was and their expectations and school rules. Quite similar to my old school really, just a few more rules, sure I could cope. After the longest 2 hours of my life, me and Gemma went over to the girls for break.

We have a group of seven girls, the 'popular group' of our last school. I'm sort of the quiet one and possibly the only virgin in the group. But I do like our group, its just that I'm only close with Gemma out of all of them. We hardly ever go out as a whole group so my social life is only to gatherings, parties and just Gemma's house. Out of the seven, five of us were in this new school. But Rachel's friend was with us, so we were a six.
