"Cops are going to be patrolling, looking for the both of us, so we need to take the back alleys." The boy said, pulling Dan into the alley from just days ago.

Dan shivered.

They stomped through puddles in the pitch dark, Dan clutching the back of the black haired boy's shirt so he wouldn't lose him.

"So," Dan began awkwardly. "Why am I required to come with you? It's not like they're going to arrest me."

"We can't risk you telling them anything about us, like what we look like, our names, anything of the sort. So you have no choice but to come with us, sweetheart." The boy explained.

"Oh," he mumbled shyly, looking down.

The two walked in silence for a few minutes before the boy pressed Dan against a wall, standing next to him. Dan opened his mouth to question him but he just shook his head quickly, clenching his jaw as he rested his head against the brick.

A cop car drove by, lights on and sirens blaring, headed in the direction of Dan's house.

"Looks like we left just in time," the boy said, pushing himself off the wall and grabbing Dan's hand, pulling him along. "But we need to hurry. Once they see that you aren't there, they're going to begin patrolling on foot and checking people's homes."

He dropped Dan's hand and sped up, suddenly making Dan feel lost. He squeaked and raced to the stranger's side, making sure they were a safe distance away. He was a gang member, after all.

The man chuckled, making Dan jump. "Just because I'm in a gang, doesn't mean I'm going to try and shank you like that man from Monday. If I wanted you dead, you'd be long gone by now."

Dan flushed. "Sorry,"

"Don't apologise. Just don't worry about me. Chris, PJ, and Robert are pretty harmless as well, it's just Ben and Jack you need to watch out for. Short tempers."

Dan nodded as a silent okay. The police had to be at his house by now, searching for any indication of kidnapping or whatever. He shuddered at the thought.

"Are you cold?" The boy asked. Dan shook his head. "You sure? I've got another jacket if you need it."

Dan smiled softly. "I'm fine, thanks though." He stared at his feet for a bit before looking back at the blue eyed boy, who looked scarily alarmed. "Hey, are yo-"

Dan was cut off by the boy pushing him against a wall for the second time in less than five minutes.

"What are you-"

"Shh, just trust me, okay?" he said, hovering over Dan.

Before Dan could say anything else, the boy pressed his lips against his, pushing his tongue into Dan's mouth. Dan's eyes bulged as his duffel bag dropped to the ground and one arm wrapped around his waist, the other hand wrapping around the back of his neck.

He hesitantly kissed him back, one hand moving to the boy's head, his fingers tangling in the soft black hair. The other rested on his chest. Footsteps were coming in their direction, and Dan attempted to pull away to save him the embarrassment of being seen, but the boy just pressed him tighter against the wall.

Lips moved to Dan's sensitive neck, and he gasped as the boy peppered kisses down the side before choosing an area and sucking gently.

"Oh, my God," Dan gasped. "S-someone is coming. Stop."

The boy bit softly at the newly formed bruise, and a choked moan forced its way out of Dan's mouth. At that exact moment, a police officer walked by, eyeing them. Oh.

"Get inside, you two. It's dangerous out here right now." he scolded, glaring at the two. Dan turned red.

He nodded quickly, his eyes fluttering shut as a new bruise was sucked into his neck. "C-come on, baby. Let's get home, then."

The boy connected their lips once more in a hungry kiss, running his hands up Dan's sides before tangling his fingers in his hair, tugging gently. The officer turned the corner and the boy pulled away, a smirk on his lips.

"Baby?" he asked, stepping back. Dan nearly whined at the loss of contact.

"I d-dunno," he mumbled, running his fingers over the new marks on his neck. "First thing that came to mind."

He shook his head picking up Dan's bag and throwing it over his shoulder again. "You make the prettiest noises, Dan. Was that on purpose, or what?"

Dan blushed for what felt like the millionth time in less than twenty minutes. "My neck is a bit sensitive," he whispered.

The boy shrugged. "It's hot." He raised his hands, his fingers ghosting over each of the marks he'd made; Dan trembled. "Hickies look good on you,"

"Are you going to tell me your name, then?" Dan asked once they'd started walking again. The boy sent him a curious glance. "Well, you've literally just shoved your tongue down my throat and given me midly unwanted hickies. I think I deserve to know your name."

The boy smirked. "Mildly?" He teased. "I could give you quite a few more in a couple of different places," he winked cheekily.

Dan shoved him, and the boy laughed. "Beside the point," He grumbled.

The boy stopped walking, turning to face Dan. He held out his hand for Dan to shake. "Phil,"

Dan took his hand, smiling up at the boy. "Nice to meet you Phil," he dropped his hand, stepping back. "Who knows, I just might hit you up on that hickey offer later, if you don't mind."

The boy shrugged, watching Dan watch him. As Phil stood there, taking in Dan's red, swollen lips, his messy, wavy hair, and his pale neck with bursts of red and purple littering it, he decided, he really wouldn't mind.
