Chapter 1~ Big News

Jessica's POV

"Hurry the hell up Jess! We're going to be late, just as always!" Robbie, my band-mate, yelled. We were getting ready to meet Layla, my band-mate and best friend, for some "Big News" she had for us at our favorite restaurant. I was currently in the bathroom, waiting for my straightener to heat and applying a dark line of eyeliner to my watermark. I blinked a few times and continued on to my mascara. My straightener "beeped" signaling it was ready to use. I quickly straightened my medium lengthed, black and purple hair, slipping on my combat boots and giving myself a quick look-over before I rushed out of the bathroom. By the time I reached the living room Robbie was already at the front door,"Robbie! Wait up!" He just nodded and motioned for me to hurry as he opened the door. I quickly closed and locked it before hopping into my Cherry Red Camero. It purred to life as I turned the key and was backing outta the driveway before Robbie even had his seatbelt on,"Jessica! Slow the fuck down! You're going to get us into a wreck!!" I giggled as I blasted the Pierce the Veil CD currently in my car and zipped down the Highway, on the way to meet Layla at Hard Rock.

Layla's POV

"Where in the living hell are they?!" I thought out loud as the people sitting at the table beside me gave me a dirty look. I looked back to my phone, I shouldve known they'd be late. 'Damnit, Jessica! I should've know you would've taken all day in the bathroom!' Just as I got that last sentence out, "Speak of the devil!" Jessica and Robbie walked in and quickly took their seats, Jess beside me and Robbie infront of us. I smiled as our waitress came over. She smiled sweetly as I read out our order,"..Oh! And three medium chocolate milkshakes please!" She nodded and walked over to the back. Our shakes were out almost imediatly and we were slurping them down when I stopped to tell them the HUGE news I had,"Ok, you guys know how I told you I had big news?" They both nodded, still working on those shakes. I smiled and looked to them both,"Well Toxic Attraction is going to be playing on.... WARPED TOUR!" Jessica's eyes got wide and she choked on her milkshake," What in the living hell! Are you serious Layla?!?!" I nodded and she nearly busted my own and the people around us' eardrums as she screamed. I giggled and Robbie sat there, cool and collected, as he nodded,"When are we supposed to leave?" I took a look down to my phone," This weekend actually. We're meeting all of the other bands in LA Saturday night, which wont be a long ride. Is the bus fixed Robbie?" I locked my phone as I slid my milkshake glass across the table into the middle. He nodded as he grabbed the check the waitress put on the table. We finished our meals and Robbie paid, leaving us to walk out of the door. I smiled, getting into my Black Chevy truck, eager to pack,"I can't believe this is happening! Woo-Hoo!!!!!" I screamed as I drove down the highway, our EP blaring in my stereo system.

This was going to be an amazing start to the summer after all....
