Chapter 16 - New Partner

Still Lucy's POV

Yes you can stay here with me.

I don't know why my hearts beating? Do I like him? Do I have a soft spot for him? Can I trust him? Does he like me? Is the reason he wants to stay because  he feels pity for me.

All these questions inside my head is confusing me. I need to get out of here asap and recollect my thoughts.

"Guys lets go up and talk to momma and daddy!"

They looked at me with confused and disappointed looks, but I just shrugged and walked out the door hearing footsteps behind me. When I reached the upstairs and the long corridor. I stared at the paintings hung on the wall and more memories and emotions came rushing into my head. I staggered to the wall holding on knowing if I let go ill fall. I screamed clutching my head as I kneeled onto the floor. My eyes blurring with my endless tears and the hands on my shoulders as my friends scream my name. The pain died down a bit but that didn't mean it stopped, it was as if someone was delaying it. My eyes closed as the pain lessened and I was drifting into a peaceful dream.

King's POV (Max)

I was calmly siting on my throne with Talulah ( my queen), when i heard a familiar scream and then silence after a while I kept hearing people scream Lucy's name so I got off my throne and ran to the source. When I got to the corridor I saw a group and Lucy was in the middle clutching her head. I touched her and she seemed to calm down and fall asleep. I picked here up ad said. "It's ok baby, daddy's here. The pain will lessen now." I looked down at her and she smiled snuggling closer to me as I walked with the group to my bedroom. As I was about to walk up the stairs Talulah came rushing towards me screaming that her baby's hurt. I looked at her surprised and she smiled at me and gave me a look that said " mothers intuition"

2 hours later.....

Lucy's POV

I woke up to be met with a blinding light forcing me to shut me my eyes. I opened my eyes again this time slowly letting them adjust as i looked around me. I was alone and in a suite like room. Questions came into my head.

Why is this place familiar? Have I been here before? Where am I? What is this place? Where is this place? Am I still at the guild hall? How long have I been asleep?

Before any more thoughts came into my head the door opened and my parents came rushing in enveloping me into a bone-crushing hug. I looked at them and smiled.

Lucy: Momma. Daddy where am I?
Max: Don't you remember baby, it's our bedroom?
Talulah: You used to sneak into our room at night when you were scared and squeeze in between us.
Lucy: Yeah I remember now. How long was I out?
Talulah: Just 2 hours sweetie.
Lucy: Oh ok! Where's my friends?
Max: Who the ones locked up?
Lucy: Yeah and Jellal asked me if he could stay here with me. Is that ok?
Max: Yes darling, winter has already informed us and we already got misty and phantom to check him out, and he is clear.
Lucy: Yes now I'll have someone with me. Can he be my partner?
Talulah: Sure sweetie what ever you want.
Knock on the door
It seems someone what's to see you?
Winter: Lu are you ok?
Lucy: Yes winter I'm ok I'm sorry I gave you quite a scare.
Winter: It's ok everyone is fine and understands. Jellal is waiting for you downstairs at the bar.
Lucy: Ok let's go introduce him as my new partner.

Nobody's POV

They all went downstairs and as soon as the guild members saw Lucy they all started to cheer. Lucy walked to the top of the balcony and shouted "JELLAL I HOPE YOU DONT MIND BUT YOU'RE MY NEW PARTNER!" He looked at her and smiled nodding his head.
