Chapter 12 - Flashback Of The Past

Lucy's POV

As I was about to answer her question, I heard myself screaming as I clutched my head in pain. The pain was unbearable like someone was burning me from the inside out. I passed out, but inside my head i saw images and scenes that felt so similar to me.

Flashback - Age 4 - (The day she met winter)

Lucy was on her way back from the gardens of the orphanage that her parents owned, when she came across a small young girl being picked on by kids who wore very posh and high-classed clothes.
She ran over to them and shouted "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING TO HER!!!"
They all stopped what they were doing and said "AH LOOK WHOS HERE MISS DISASTER LUCY DAUGHTER OF THE LEGENDS! WHY DO YOU CARE ABOUT HER, SHE'S SO WORTHLESS? WHY DON'T YOU JOIN US AND ACT THE WAY YOU SHOULD, BY TREATING EVERYONE WHO IS POOR LIKE A PEASANT?"
Lucy looked at her, she may be four but she could really hurt someone if they annoyed her. She looked at them and laughed, she smiled wickedly and walked closer to them. They thought she was going to join them so they smiled back not noticing that lucy had already passed their victim. Lucy walked up to them and SLAPPED each and every one of them . She was really annoyed now that they thought she would join them, she punched them and drips of blood could be seen. The girls were mortified so they ran home when one of them stopped and shouted "WE WILL REMEMBER THIS, DON'T THINK YOU WILL GET AWAY WITH THIS." Lucy walked back up to the girl and said "You ok? Where's your parents?"
The young girl started to cry and quietly said "My parents died last week, and I was asking around for food when those girls came up to me and said that people like me should not interact with people of high class."

Lucy's POV

I looked at her with tears brewing in my eyes. I helped her up and said "Come with me to the orphanage, you'll be safe their and my parents own it so I'll stay close to you. As long as I'm here you won't be alone or hurt every again." She smiled at me while wiping her tears and held my hand as we ran back to the orphanage.

Flashback - Age 7 - (Lucy birthday)

Lucy's POV

It's been three years now that winter has joined us, I love her so I kinda became her older sister but I didn't mind she was my best friend and I would do anything for her.
Lucy: Winter, you're back from the shops with mama.
Winter: Yeah I am and look at what I bought.
Lucy: But it's broken, there's a piece missing.
Winter: No silly it's supposed to be like this, it's a half locket that is for me and you. You take this half and I'll take the other half.
Lucy: It's beautiful, what's inside?
Winter : Why not take a look?
Lucy: Its us on your 5 birthday!
Winter: Yes it is .I love you Lucy and Happy Birthday! We'll always be together!
Lucy: Thank you, obviously I love you too and yeah we'll always be together!
Winter: Best friends and sisters
Lucy: Best friends and sisters

Flashback - Age 8 - (The day it all went wrong)

Normal POV

In the peaceful orphanage of the legends family played two little girls, while the rest of the children played with their own friends, who were playing a game of hide and go seek. When a large crash came from inside. The door of the orphanage came crashing down when the magic council came barging in with armed weapons and mages on stand by.
Talulah Legend (the queen) and Max Legend (the king) came rushing down the stairs to the main hall. "What do you think you're doing?" Max said as he saw his door and the magic council standing there. His wife telling the children to wait in the next room.
One of the guards came and said "Talulah and Max legend you are under arrest for a crime of murder." The two looked at the guard shocked and Max said "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, WE HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!" The guards looked at them and said "You were charged for murder but it seems we have received a message from head quarters and there was no proof to back up the report, so you are free to go but I'm afraid we have to take Lucy Legend as it is not safe for a young child to stay here. You may keep the rest of them but not her." Talulah then shouted "WHAT! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO STEAL MY DAUGHTER, YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF THE REPORT THAT WAS GIVEN SO YOU CAN LEAVE WITHOUT MY CHILD COMING WITH YOU. JUST LEAVE AND DON'T COME BACK!
Another guard came in through the front door and said "We may leave now we have the girl in our custody as she is in the van unconscious, so we may leave!"
