What is Love?

Mabel sighed. School sure was boring. While getting her books and other stuff together, she noticed a picture. It was a picture Dipper, Wendy, Pacifica and she took together. Pacifica wasn't too happy with it but still went with it. 

Dipper sure did grow a lot since then. He still was a nerd with the supernatural stuff but he was more serious, more than back then. 

" And I? Am i more mature now? " Mabel asked herself. She still loved to wear silly sweaters. Her braces were gonne though. And she cut a part of her hair off. It was now till her shoulders.

The buzzing of her phone disturbed her thoughts. It was her mom, complaining about Waddles. But after that text her mom wrote something about ' A nice suprise ' so Mabel became curious.

" I'll search for Dipper, i want to know what the suprise is! " Mabel thought, excited.  Mabel was still a sucker for surprises and presents. 

She rushed through the hall, looking around for Dipper. She noticed him walking outside. She sprinted into a classroom and opened a window. 

" Dipper! " Mabel shouted. Dipper looked up, suprised. " What is it Mabel? And why are you disturbing the lesson of Miss Smith?..  " Mabel started to look shocked by that last part. She slowly turned around, laughing nervous. She then jumped through the window and attempted to close the window, what didn't really work so she just grabbed Dipper's arm and ran of with him. 

" Mabel, what the hell was that?! " Dipper said angrily to Mabel. Mabel raised her hand in sign that he had to wait a bit longer. She wasn't as hyper as before and didn't have all that energy anymore. 

" Mom texted me about a suprise. " Mabel said after another minute. 

" So you got a text, decided to search me, then disturb a lesson and drag me of? " Dipper asked with a tone of disbelief. He sighed when Mabel nodded. In his eyes, Mabel didn't change a bit..

" So what do you want to do now? " Dipper asked, already knowing the answer. " I want to go home and hear what the suprise is! "

" We are going to Gravity Falls?! " Mabel and Dipper shouted at the same time, before looking at each other with big grins. Their parents nodded with a small smile. Waddles snored happy. 

" So when are we going? " Dipper asked their mother. " Well, vacation starts next week, so your first day till your last day i guess? " Their mom said, muttering the last part, not really sure. Their father just nodded. 

" That's so soon! " Mabel sighed, dropping  down on her bed. " Maybe, but i look forward to it! We will see everybody again! " Dipper said, excited. Mabel smiled, Dipper started his own diary with supernatural things a bit ago. This would give him a lot to write. 

" Oh, we will also see Wendy again " Mabel teased Dipper. Dipper started blushing. " I- I'm not in love w-with her anymore! " Dipper shouted, stuttering a bit. " I'm over that now.. " 

" I know, just teasing you bro! " Mabel laughed. " I look forward to see her too! " 

That night, when Dipper was already asleep, Mabel was staring at their ceiling. Wendy wasn't the only one they would see again.. Pacifica too. Mabel searched around with her hand in her bag till she found the picture. A lamp in the hall illuminated it just enough to see the people on it. 

Pacifica had a huge impact on Mabel. Mabel sure did think a lot about the Blonde. 

School did give them the ' Birds and the Bees ' talk. But what is love? What did she feel for the girl? Did she just like her as a friend or did she feel more? She wasn't so sure..

" C'mon Mabel, wake up! We're here! " Mabel woke up to Dipper's voice. Mabel rubbed with one hand her eyes. " Already? " She muttered, still a bit sleepy. Waddles was trying to eat her pants. 

" Dipper, Mabel! " A voice called, it was Soos. He lost a bit of weight and smiled brightly. Waddles sprinted to the man and snored. 

Wendy was the second person to laugh at them. Dipper was as tall as her now and grinned awkwardly. Mabel had become a bit longer but not that much. 

While the others walked inside the shack, Mabel heard a certain voice. 

" Mabel Pines. I see you have returned to destroy my summer once again? " Pacifica said, but with a friendly smile. 

Mabel's heart sped op for a moment. " I sure am! " 

So that's what love is..
