So first off, June is pride month! 2-6 is Lesbian day, woohoo! So I decided to celebrate it with a fic about my favourite Gravity Falls ship :) Don't stop being gay, ya'll!

How wrong can a date go?

Very, very wrong is the answer Pacifica would give you if you ask her about her first date with Mabel.
Honestly, the beginning hadn't even been that bad.

The first disaster was when Mabel decided to take the Rainbow flavour ice. She had said she wanted it because "it was gay" and "look how pretty it is". It turned out Mabel was allergic for the type of sugar was used because her face kinda swelled up.

Pacifica still thought her now girlfriend looked adorable, even though her cheeks looked like those of squirrels.

"It's okay," Pacifica had promised when Mabel looked like she was about to cry. "you still look very handsome and pretty, you're sweater is really nice today!"

She hated seeing Mabel upset. The days of trying to make Mabel feel bad were over ages ago.

Mabel pouted as she looked up. "Do you really think my sweater is nice?"

Pacifica thought the sweater was awful. It had Mufasa and Simba on it, sitting on a stone with above a text bubble saying, "Dad moved too slow so I told him to Mufasa."

"Yes," Pacifica forced herself to say with a bright smile. "it's funny!"

The brunette sniffed and wiped her nose dry. "Thanks for making me feel better, Pacifica." she mumbled as she gave Pacifica a little smile.

Pacifica smiled back. "My pleasure, Mabel."

Now the next problem was actually not that weird. They had been sitting on the edge of a fountain that was in the middle of the shopping mall they were at.

A dog had sprinted towards them all of the sudden and Pacifica, who is afraid of every animal except Mabel, tried to get away from it by sliding backwards, over the edge of the fountain, the water in. She had been holding Mabel's hand and pulled the girl with her.

Five towels and an apology later, Mabel and Pacifica were done and went back home.

"Well that didn't go the way I wanted it to go." Mabel sighed as she continued to dry her hair. Pacifica was sitting on her bed. "It's okay Mabel. Sometimes things don't go the way we want them to go."

Mabel sat down next to Pacifica and looked her deep in the eyes. "At least I was together with you when I looked like a squirrel." she then chuckled with her eyes now closed.

Pacifica gulped. Mabel looked really, really pretty right now. She had lost her baby fat a while ago and her braces had finally been taken out. Pacifica bit her lip as she stroke a strand of Mabel's hair behind her ear, starting to lean in.

Her girlfriend stared at her in shock but started to get closer as well, closing her eyes slowly as she did. When their lips met, it was something entirely new.

"Soft," was what crossed Mabel's mind.
"Awesome," was what Pacifica thought.

The last problem was that they didn't want to stop. It wasn't a bad problem.
