Chapter 6 Sydney's P.O.V:
Leonardo sits at a table in the foster home. He has a sketch pad. He seems to stare at me. I knew I was probably blushing. I tried to ignore his eyes but I felt them. I started to right a new song but it was hard to concentrate. He just kept staring. But then the unexpected happened. He came and sat down beside me. All he said was "you". And he dropped a folded piece of paper beside me. I picked it up as he walked away. I carefully unfolded the paper revealing a well drawn realistic picture of a girl. Then I remembered how he had said "you". The girl was me. I blushed so much I felt like I was on fire. He grinned from a far. Then he came to sit beside me again. "Sorry it just doesn't do your beauty justice." he muttered. I put my hand on his arm like I was telling him it was okay. He smiled and pulled out his sketch pad. He flipped through the pages. All if them were me. I kept blushing. He showed me one that was pretty good. Of course all of his drawings were good but this one was amazing.
Leonardo and I sat for a while awkwardly. Then I pulled out my song book. He read the pages slowly. Then he started sketching lava. He was illustrating my song. He did a great job as always but he seemed uncomfortable not drawing people. So I handed him a song about my mom. I cried seeing him draw a woman and her daughter. It reminded me of how me and my mom loved each other so much. And how much I live Leonardo now.
