Sorry if this is going to get boring. This is mainly just a part of your backstory, so its clear to the reader why the main characters ended up in the Akatsuki, without it, the story would be too meeeh. The more romantic parts are in the next chapter :3

Also this is pretty short. I'll be aiming for at least 2k words each chaper- Author

It was 5pm in the afternoon, however it was dark outside. Gloomy clouds were lingering around the Akatsuki base since this morning, and an hour ago it started heavily raining, causing the atmosphere to be gray and boring.

I was sat on the bed in my room, looking out of the window which was just above me. My room wasn't big. It was dark and a little bit damp, but I couldn't help it. I resided in a cave after all. There was a wardrobe beside the dark brown wooden door, which leads to the corridor. There was also a Black rug spread across the floor, and a little desk beside my bed, where I would keep my books and drawing tools. But other than that, the room was empty.

I was thinking about why I ended up here in the first place. I joined the Akatsuki because I didn't feel like I could to be loyal to my former village, not after what they did to my clan.

~Flashback~~~~
You are a mere teenager, 16 years old.

The kekkei genkai your clan possessed was destructive and powerful, it was feared by Konoha, which made the Hokage worry for the villages well- being. He ordered the clan of (l/n) to move away from the village, the head of our clan decided to move into the woods, 3 miles away from Konohagakure, where we would form a defensive unit for the village. However things didn't go as smoothly as we thought they would. We lived peacefully for about 5 months, however for some reason more and more of our people got sick really easily, since we left the village. Someone died at least once a week, which worried and troubled our leader, however he would not do anything about it. It infuriated me, why do we sit here and watch our loved ones die?! I couldn't hold it in any longer, so I payed a visit to the head of our family.

"Why do nothing? We are all going to die soon because you wont contact the village for help!" I yelled, slamming my petite yet powerful hands against the desk I sat in front of.

Our leader was tall, had white hair  which was quite regular in our clan. His eyes were midnight blue with thick black eyeliner around them. As he was classified as 'the elder' of our clan, he wore face paint on his cheeks, which symbolized sharpened bones and on his forehead, there was a drawing of his demons wings.

Our clan's Kekkei genkai allowed us to contract demons, like the Inuzuka clan, we used them as our companions. However the due to them being much out of ordinary, we used them like summoning animals in battle. An individual could also transform into their demons body, which would enhance the way of battle. But that required bonds with the demon, and a huge amount of chakra. Half of our clans fighters could not master that power, only experienced enough could. I was not one of them. My demon was  just a bit taller than me, when we fight together, he flies into the air and attempts to fight from a long distance, where I taunt the target and try to inflict damage from close combat.

"I guess I should tell you the truth, you are currently the youngest member of this clan, and I hope that your future will be better than my own." Said our leader.

I blinked and sat down on the pillow below me, and waited for a continuation. It surprises me greatly of what he wanted to say, I've never seen our leader to look this troubled before.

"The night before we left the village, the Hokage has called me in, he told me about how dangerous the elders thought of our clans Power is, it needed to be eliminated." He exclaimed, with a soft yet sad tone. He got up from the pillow he was sat on, and calmly walked up to the altar behind him, and lit the blue candles, as it was starting to get dark outside.

"He ordered me to leave the village, but before I would do that, I was told to poison our clan members, which would lead to their death. It was either that or eliminate them just like the Uchiha." He said. My eyes started to water, I couldn't help but start weeping.

"B-but that means...-" I said, or at least attempted to before he cut me off.

"I, however did not exactly poison this clan with the poison I was supposed to. It Has the same results, however this version of it Has a medicine. Sadly the medicine only works for a certain amount of time, which means that if you don't take it for too long, you will end up being nauseous and having a coughing fit, which will most likely choke you to death." He established, whilst turning around to face me once more.

"Then why didn't you give this medicine to the people who were suffering? They could still be alive!" I shouted, yet again slamming my fists on the table. My eyes were red from the tears I've shed, yet my voice was still as certain and stern as it was before.

"Because I honestly believe that if less people of our clan are alive, then it will be better. The kekkei genkai is powerful, and if it falls into the wrong hands, then it could cause great destruction. That's why I wish to give you medicine which will be able to keep you alive. I believe you can use this Power to protect your loved ones, and bring happiness to this world. I will entrust you with this clans future". He finished his sentence and chucked me a jar full of pills, on the label it clearly said "Take two once a week".

I stood up, calmly, my eyes started tearing again, but all I could think of was the words of our leader. How could I use this damned power for the sake of others?

I nodded and walked out of the room, then as soon as my foot stepped out side, I jumped up into the trees which were surrounding our clans base, and ran as far and as fast as I could, trying to occupy my mind with the running, but it had no use, all I could think of was his words to me.

"Hope that your future would be better than mine". Those words were circling in my head.

I stumbled around the villages, I had a black hooded cloak on me, so no one will recognize that I was from the (l/n) clan, I walked into a pub, it was around 7pm, people were already dancing on the tables, getting drunk, and the women already started to prostitute. I sat down at one of the empty tables and ordered a non- alcoholic drink. Some time later I met a man with long blonde hair. He wore a Black cloak with a Red cloud pattern. He sat across me and smirked. He didn't however introduce himself, nor did he ask for my name. He was really stuck up. He Talked about his art and how amazing it was. We talked for hours, we shared some interests, and some perspectives. I asked about his cloak and he explained it was a trademark thing of his organization, which I joined without further hesitation, as I was quite lonely after leaving the clan.
