Violets P.O.V
After Simon tapped me on the shoulder, I panicked. I ran, ran too the first place that came to my head. Faye's house.

Me and Faye have been best friends since year 1. She has stuck with me through thick and thin. Too bad today she is sick and can't come into school but she's usually there, standing my side, helping me with the mean people.

After repeating out secret knock 3 times, Faye's mum answers the door.
"Why hello there, Vi." She says in her very posh voice.
"Hi. Um, is Faye here?" She nods and points upstairs towards Faye's room. I thank her and walk upstairs.

Me and Faye are like sisters. We tell each other everything. I'm pretty sure she knows things not even my parents know!

*after explanation*

"Wait Simon Minter?" She says and hides her head in her large hoodie.
"Yer, why?" I say, she looks up finally.
"Eeeeerrrrrmmmm, no reason." I nod.
"Ok"

After a long awkward silence I finally speak up.
"Well I better be going, need to spend time with family. It's my brothers birthdays!" I say. She nods
"Wish them happy birthday for me!"
I nod.
"Bye sissy!" I yell as I leave.
"Bye Slay Queen!" She yells. That's what we call each other, we have right from little kids in Year 2. She would call me Slay Queen because aparently I 'slayed' the outfits I used to wear, I call her sissy because it's short for sister.

*At home*

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I yell as I see John and Edward come downstairs. They run over me and pick me up whilst hugging me.
"I love you guys!"
"We love you too!" They say as we walk up to their room.

After unpacking their gifts they ask me the dreaded question;
"How was school?"  I look up. My heart stops beating for a split second. Every word I seem trip on as they spill out of my mouth.
"Yeah, how's Summer the Bummer" Edward says mimicking Millie's sad voice.
"Using me again" I say with a sigh.
"What?!?!?" They say at the same time.
"Ye, look." I say as I go to my room and pass them a piece of summers homework I forgot to take to school. They gasp.
"Just wait till I get my hands on that little bi-"
"No John it's yours and Ed'ards birthday. Don't let summer ruin it." I say letting my clear Irish accent be heard. I hug them both.
"I guess so..." He says. I won- once again.
