Chapter 8

The bell rang signaling that class was about to begin. I sat patiently in the back, waiting for the day to be over.

A buzzing sound came over the PA.

"Attention students this is your principal speaking and the class president of 2014 has a special announcement." The principal said. Whispers began to full the room. Giggles escaped the girls mouths.

"Hi guys this is Stephanie and I'm glad to announce that banquet is just around the corner and our theme is ..... Drumroll please.....MASQUERADE! So boys don't forget to ask the ladies! And tickets will be 55 dollars. Hope to see you all there!" The perky girl said.

"Thank you Stephanie. Today's lunch special will be tacos. The green club will be meeting today at lunch and so will the drama club. That's it for today's announcements. Have a wonderful day." The buzzing sound started again and ended.

Class was over and harry was waiting for me outside the room. I walked past him to my locker.

"Hey! Are you mad?" He said as he grabbed my arm pulling me towards him.

"Get off me." I pushed him. He didn't grab my again like usual.

"Whatever babe." He said as he walked off. I regretted what I said but it was too late. I saw Liam staring at me from his locker. I forced a smile and waved. He made his way towards me.

"Hey....are you okay?" He asked. His big brown eyes stared into mine.

"Yeah...yeah I just had a bad dream last night. But I'm fine." I shut my locker and began to walk to my next class. He firmly grabbed my arm stopping me in my tracks. Shocked, I turned to face him.

"Let's get out of here. I want to take you somewhere." He said.

"B-but I have 4 more classes.." I said defensively.

"So. Please."

Our fingers were now intertwined. How could I say no to him? I nodded and he led me to the back exit of the school. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I went towards the car but he pulled me in the other direction.

"What about the car?" Said still staring at the parking lot. He was string me along.

"We don't need it." He chuckled. "Just trust me."

I'd never done anything like this. He took the lead and I followed. We walked for what seemed like forever until we got to a house.

"Who lives here?" I asked as we walked up the driveway.

"Me." He smiled. Confused, I just followed. He walked me through his hallway and up the stairs. Pictures of his childhood were framed all around us. He pushed open the door to what I presume is his room. The walls were a light tan and his bed spread was blue. He pulled out some candles and lit them.

"What are you doing?" I giggled. He didn't say anything. He grabbed me and began to kiss me. His hands aggressively struggled to undo my pants button. I quickly pushed him off.

"I don't want to." I whispered. We were both put of breath.

"Come on. My parents are gone till later tonight." He leaned forward again and kissed me. I pushed him and moved to the side.

"This isn't how I pictured it happening. It's not exactly romantic." I spat at him.

"Romantic? You were going to lose it to me in the bathroom of a movie theater. Where's that gabby?." He was getting more angry.

"What's gotten into you? I can't believe this. You're an asshole. Don't fucking talk to me." I stormed out of his house. He didn't even chase after me.
