CarWritesFanfic  was here. Writing this. Enjoy.

A/N: If you're wondering why Kat isn't writing this chapter, it's because she's had a lot on her plate with school, books and more, so I offered to write the chapter.

Enjoy!!

Garroth stares at the brunette boy in amazement as he runs off. "Gar-Gar, sweetie! Mommy's here to pick you up!" Zianna, Garroth, Vylad and Zane's mom sings. Garroth watches Laurance and Dante get on the bus, then turns his head in Zianna's direction, "Mummy!" Garroth exclaims happily. He runs over to the car, his brothers following shortly behind, "Shotgun!" Garroth calls out as he slides into the passenger seat. "Garroth! You always get shotgun!" Zane whines, his voice cracking while he says his older brother's name. "Meh. Whatever. I'll get it someday once you both are moved out and I'm the..." Vylad pauses, "STAR CHILD!!!!" He sings. Garroth chuckles at his brothers as they sit in the back seat. "Now, boys..." Zianna's voice is serious. Silence falls over the car like a hot blanket of tension. "..." She continues the silence, "BOYS, IT'S BEYONCÉ TIME!!!" Zianna shouts. Vylad whoops, "WOOOOOO!!! BEYONCEEEEE!!!" Vylad yells. "THAT'S MY BOY!" Zianna turns up the music, the speakers almost giving out. Garroth, Zianna and Vylad sing loudly to the music, but their voices are no match for the blasting stereo. Zane just grumbles, "You all are idiot." Then goes back to reading some book on his phone using some app named Wattpad?

Somehow, Garroth heard Zane's insult, "Come on, baby brother! Have some fun, lighten up!" Garroth shouts over the radio. "I don't need to 'lighten up'. Just leave me alone!" Zane angrily stuffs his ears with earbuds, cutting the Beyoncé music and family member's noise out.

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" Laurance and Dante sing in sync. Laurance rolls out a rock, Dante paper. "Aaannd I win!" Dante cheers. Laurance rolls his eyes, "Only this one time!" He exclaims. The blue haired friend laughs, "Suuurrree." He rolls out his word. Laurance smiles, then directs his attention to his phone. "Why were we playing 'Rock, paper, scissors' anyway?" Dante asks. The brunette shrugs, "Dunno. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time." He states. "Oh yea..." Dante mumbles. He goes back to scrolling thru social media as well. A few minutes pass before the bus comes to a screeching halt. Dante and Laurance's jerk forward, their phones almost slipping from their hands, "We're here for those who stop at Acorn Street." The raspy voice of the bus driver makes it into everybody's ears. A good amount of the bus seems shaken up from the abrupt and unexpected stop, but most quickly recover. A few kids, including Laurance and Dante, stand up, grab their book bags, and walk off the bus. The two friends start to get into a friendly conversation, until they finally come to a fork in the road. "See you tomorrow?" Dante asks. Laurance plays with the straps of his backpack, "See you tomorrow." He repeats. The friends exchange smiles, then part their ways, taking their unique path down the road, alone. Laurance looks up at the trees, how sunlight shimmers from it, small rays of warm light shine on the ground. Laurance listens to the birds chirping their usual song, and hear the occasional bark of the dogs. The brunette takes a breath, inhaling and exhaling quite quickly.

"I guess today wasn't so bad after all..."
