Evergreen stood staring at the request board. The Thunder Legion where on a break, well it was more like a hiatus. And poor Evergreen was growing impatient with her teammates. She decided to stop waiting around and just take a job. She kept looking for a high paying job. Maybe something somewhere nice.

"Hello there evergreen what are you looking for?" Asked the lovely barmaid.

"I need a job, something that would pay well and doesn't require a team of 9 to do."

"Well," the barmaid thought over all of the more recent requests "There's one looking for a missing amulet, and the owner is paying a high price for its return."

"That sounds like my kinda job, I'll take it." Evergreen leaned over the counter excited and eager to start.

"It's called the the amulet of paradise, a cat burglar got a hold of it about three days ago." Mira shuffled through papers trying to find the official job request form. "From what I remember, the burglar used a kind of sound magic to break the glass protecting it. Then he headed west. " Mira began to look in other spots. Humming to herself.

"Something wrong Mira?"

"I can't seem to find where I placed that request form," Mira looked up to Evergreen. "Well, it's only two towns over, I'll send word that you're talking the job."

"Thank you so much, I owe you one Mira" The woman in green exclaimed. And quickly she headed out the door to pack for her mission.

The sun was shining and the birds singing. Evergreen was enjoying her magazine as she rode the train to her destination. The small town of Camba was only a half day's trip by foot, so Evergreen made it there in only a few hours. Due to the lack of a formal request form, Evergreen had to stop and ask for directions and the location of the owner's home. Three wrong turns and argument with a pedestrian later she came to the home of the Slvain family.

"Please pardon my lateness." Evergreen gave a polite head nod towards her employers. "I was given poor directions"

"Oh it's quite alright." A woman in white replied. Her silky black hair was over her shoulders, giving her a royal look. "I am madam Slvain, are you the wizard from fairy tail who is to retrieve my stolen paradise?" She looked Evergreen over a few times. "You don't look that impressive, and where is your partner?"

"Yes Madam I'm the wizard from fairy tail" huffed the fairy magic user. "I'm on my own, but I promise I can handle a mission of this difficulty." Evergreen took in the larger home from her spot by the door. It had high arching ceilings, giving it a grand feeling. "Can you show me the room where the crime was committed?"

The home was filled with plants from all different parts of Fiore. It created a very relaxed environment. The high ceilings gave it an open feeling, as if by stepping through the door you were in a totally different place. The pair climbed a set of stairs and a musty hallway leading them to a room on the far side of the building.

"This was where I kept my paradise." Madam Slvain showed off a glass case, now shattered and scattered all over the floor. "The vicious criminal headed west after that." Again she lead Evergreen to another location, a broken window. "He went into the wood, but there are so many places for that mad criminal to hide. Please you have to find him."

"Don't worry, I'll get the amulet back." And at that Evergreen flew out the broken window in search of the thief.

The guild hall was almost empty, and Mira began cleaning up the bar. Soon the building would be locked up and she could go home for some nice, well deserved rest. Something was still troubling her though. She normally wasn't this clumsy with request forms, yet she still couldn't find the one she sent Evergreen on. Skillfully she took stacks of plates to the back. As she lifted the last stack, there under them was a folded paper. Curious Mirajane unfolded it, and almost dropped the dishes. She had found the request form, on it she a written Save for the Thunder Leagon. The request form details about a cursed amulet, one that took over the mind of the one touching it. This beautiful gem sucked the soul from the people around it, trapping the conscious forever.
