Hello, my name is Alexia...But my family calls me Alex or Lexia. For the past few days, I have been having very dreadful, and sorrowful  nightmares. I wake up in a sheet of sweat, my skin a sickly white, and trembles that are impossible to soothe. I have  told no one, for I believe if I speak of such a dream, they would send me away and I would never see my family or friends again. Nor would I see my very best friend, a raven who I have named  Jace. He is my best friend, who is also my protector. I would not be here if it were not for him. I am grateful to have him as my best friend. I must, go, for the sun is about to rise and I must do my chores. Good bye, for now."

Hello again. Jace and I have just recently returned with blue berries and rasberries. Mother will be most pleased....No, I still have not told anyone about these nightmares. Maybe one day I will have enough courage to tell them...Possibly on my death bed. I am not so sure. But, I do wish to tell you of the nightmare I encountered  last night that has been far worse than any other at this point.  In my nightmare, I woke to find a crimson red, charred face peering down at me as I lay on a  cold, metallic operating table. I noticed I had blood running down the corner of my mouth and a very painful numbness in my right arm. I looked over and screamed, for I had seen that my forearm was gone. Only the metallic table covered in blood from where my forearm had once been. I looked back at the bleeding and charred face as it laughed, then, everything went black. I awoke in the dream to see lights, fading in and out before entering a pitch black room. I glanced around the room, hoping to see a glimpse of light. I took a step forward as I heard hushed whispers. I gasped and called out as I fell. Pain shot through my legs and feet as I looked around on the ground and found a flashlight. I turned it on shakily. To my horror, I saw skeletons hung to the wall by chains and rope. I looked down and saw broken, shattered bones, and glass bits covering the floor beneath me. I stood again and winced as I walked to a door that had suddenly appeared out of no where. It slowly creaked open, I saw a cool, pale blue eye peak at me. I stopped in my tracks as we stood there staring at each other. They shut the door as large hooks lowered from the ceiling. I watched before someone came out of the shadows, and walked towards me, they took the hooks and hooked them through my shoulders, hips, and calves. I cried out in pain and they laughed, a laugh so wicked I felt true terror. Then. I awoke from the nightmare, shaken, my body aches as if it had truly happened, I stood to go to the kitchen, my legs gave out on me, I am just happy that I did not wake Mother or Father. I got back up and walked to the kitchen, with tears in my eyes, I lit a lantern, and saw my arms, covered in scratches and blood. I let out a blood curling scream. Mother and Father came racing down stairs. When they saw my arms, they turned a sickly pale white before grabbing bandages from upstairs. Mother made us a pot of tea. They are so worried, they asked me what happened, I do not lie, but I must lie this one time, I told them I was sleeping, a wolf like creature came into my room and had tried to kill me, but, I was able to save myself by putting my arms out in front of me. They believe me. I must go now, I have many chores to do before nightfall. Goodbye for now."

I apologize for my disappearance, the village has noticed the scratches on my arms and now call me the demoness. Very terrifying, I wish it would stop, but I do not have the power to stop them, only the Magistrate has that power. He believes I am a demoness, so there is no stopping this rumor. Anyway, Jace has been by my side ever since the night that I awoke with the scratches on my arms. He does not like it when I am alone any more, which is unusually strange, especially for him, but it's nice to have him by my side, he makes me feel sane again. I could never leave him alone, and he will never leave me alone. Yes, the nightmares are still happening... I truly do wish they would stop, but, they just come and never leave. I suppose I must learn to live with it. Mother has been very kind and has taken away the worst of my chores. She has done this because, my scratches are severely bruised, they burn like the fires of Hell. I bear the pain and finish my chores like Mother and Father wants. These nightmares have become unbearable and I have concluded a theory, that they will never go away, and that they will just continue to get worse, I must go, Mother needs help with dinner. Goodbye for now"
