Lucy's POV

" I'm sorry " Natsu said to me as he wrapped his strong arms around me softly.

" what? Why? " I said, confused

" for getting us separated and not watching over you good enough, those high schoolers came in and....... I'm sorry " he sighed

I put my arms around him and start to rub his back reassuringly. I could feel his heart beat start to speed up.

" Natsu it's not your fault, the crowd separated us and even if we were closer together, the crowd probably would still separate us. And those high school boys, they're so dumb they didn't even realize that I'm in middle school. Plus I took care of them. "
I said pointing to the high schooler I knocked out on the floor behind us at the last part I said.

" but- " I cut Natsu off by breaking off the hug and held his hand Instead.

" you always cheering me up when I'm sad, so I'm gonna go buy you some ice cream, how bout that? And then we can go and watch the concert!! "

Natsu smiled and nodded.

I took him over to the ice cream stand At the corner and picked out a strawberry vanilla ice cream, as Natsu picked out rocky road.

As I began to hand the lady the money, Natsu immediately pushed my hand away and gave her his money first.

" Natsu!! "
" it feels weird for a girl to be paying for me "

I hit on the shoulder, but not hard enough to seriously hurt him.

" ow! "
" that's what you get! "

The lady handed us our ice cream but added an extra scoop.

" um miss we only asked for one. "
" I'm adding an extra for the cutest couple I've seen today! Don't worry it's free of course! "

We both gave her and excited smile and thanked her a bunch.

Well we love ice cream.

" thank you miss! "
" oh call me mirajane! I've seen you before at the bookstore! "

The nice lady said as she pointed towards me.

" oh now I remember! I was there a while back for the newest romance novel they had! "

Natsu gave me a disgusted look.

" you read romance novels? " he said, disgusted

" oh and I see you adding tabasco to your pizza, that's not gross? "

Natsu stayed silent not knowing what to say.

" I was right, you guys are so cute together " mirajane said softy putting her hand against her cheek.

" oh we're not a couple " I said as Natsu stayed quiet.

" oh what a shame, well I hope you guys do someday! "

I nervously laugh at what she said

" oh crap, we got 20 minutes to go in and find a seat. "

" ooh we better go. See ya Mira! And thanks for the extra scoop! "
I waved goodbye to her and we both hurried to the building to see Brendon Urie ( lead singer of Panic! ) and his amazing concert!
