Lucy's POV

" because Natsu, I love you. "

Natsu face immediately turned tomato red.

" plus the fire thing was cool, was the heart on purpose? "

Natsu slowly nodded and say up a little.

" l-l-Lucy? "
" hm? " I hummed tilting my head.
" I l-l-love you t-t-too " he said closing his eyes.

I patted him on the head.

" why is it that you are comforting me, when I'm supposed to comfort you "
" I don't know, but I feel better comforting you! "

" okay, now that that's settled.... Natsu you don't have to tell me anymore about if you don't want to. " I continued.

Natsu's blush went away and he sat up straight.

" no, I know about your secret, so you need to know mine too..... So the reason my parents were fighting is because of me, my power, was passed down from her. And dad, well sorta thought of me as a ' monster '. And the day they saw me use fire, is when they began to fight. Mom always did What dad said so we didn't have to deal with his yelling and...... Abuse " Natsu began to tear up, so I grabbed his cheek and wiped away the tears.

He smiled at me and began again.

" but the day they found out my power, was sorta the worst. After they fought, dad said he was leaving for a while. and mom took this as her chance to send me to my baseball practice. I didn't want to go there and leave her alone with my dad, but she forced me. While I was there, I kept thinking about mom, but I didn't expect anything serious to happen, so I kinda had fun being there. That was foolish of me. Cause after an hour of practice, my coach came up and told me what the police told him. My coach has always been bold, but i never thought that he would tell a child this. He told me that my mom, has been murdered by my dad. Luckily our neighbors heard screaming and called the police. And that's how dad was arrested. And without any parents now, I was gonna be sent to an orphanage, but my uncle saved me from that. "

Even now I was crying. Natsu did the same as me, grabbing my cheek and wiping away the tears.

" Lucy? "
" yes Natsu? "

I said looking at him with some tears in my eyes, That were ready to fall out at any moment.

" can I........... Kiss you? "

I was shocked by the question, and although I can't feel it.. I know that I was blushing.

And without even realizing it...... I nodded. Natsu seemed so happy, he leaned in and gently placed his lips onto mine, it felt........ Warm! With those couple of minutes, we parted away for air.

With my shocked expression Natsu sorta freaked out.

" oh Lucy I'm sorry! Did you not like it!? "

" oh no Natsu, I loved it but.... "
" but? "
" I felt, your warmth "
