> Picture of Sean (a bit younger) <
Finding eyes watching me as I exit out of the office, I ignore them all as I decide to head out for a bit. Entering inside the elevator, the door is about to close before a hand stops it getting me to find a male entering inside.
And a familiar male at that.
He has cool electric-purple black hair and azure-blue eyes that shines despite his cold expression.
Frowning, I stuff my hands into my pockets before looking away as he steps in.
"Name?" The com asks.
"The Einstein." The boy beside me answers.
"The Useless." I mumble standing at the corner of the elevator.
As it begins to move, we both keep quiet as I wish that I can just evaporate into thin air now.
"I heard you and Asel bickering." He begins speaking.
I don't respond as I feel the arms that are wrapping around me tightening as I stare dead away from him.
"What about it?" I reply knowing if I don't, it'll just get more complicating.
"He's not the only one, they are too. And me included." He replies, "All of us wanting to know why you left and changed."
"It has nothing to do with you, Nesor, or them. Just leave the topic alone already." I coldly state looking away so he does not see my wavering eyes.
That must have struck a nerve as he slams his hand beside my face. In shock, I don't hesitate to face the other way for me to escape, but his other arm blocks me causing me to be stuck in between his two arms. With him in front of me, as only a few inches away separates our faces.
"Nothing to do with us? You've got to be joking with me." He speaks like venom is in his mouth.
Leaning towards me, I feel something wet on my cheek which gets my whole body to freeze. As his lips leave my cheek, I see his expression causing me to shudder as I feel weak.
"We'll never leave you alone." He promises in a hush voice which leaves a deep effect on me.
The elevator door opens, and he takes back his arms and walks out of the box. Leaving me standing there in a daze, the door closes and my body finally moves. My back slides down the wall slowly until I sit on the floor while my hands head to the top of my beating heart. Bringing my knees towards me as I let my head touch the top of it, I try to calm the fast pacing heart that feels ready to jump out.
What have I done?
Taking a deep breath in, I push myself back up to my feet as I finally feel less numb. Closing my eyes for a second, I open them up to show my bored emotionless eyes again.
I can't let myself suddenly be taken back to emotions, I don't need them.
All the training that I have done will have been for nothing.
Hearing the door open again, I walk out before I get push back in by the newest member of my team. As the door closes, instantly, without allowing me having time to ask what's happening, he talks first.
"Who was that guy?" Liv speaks frowning holding my wrist tightly.
"What guy?" I reply in confusion on how he knows Nesor.
"The one that was just in here, the white hair one." He explains showing how impatient he is with his voice.
"How - " I begin wanting to ask about their connection.
"Just answer me." He demands getting me to stay silent before sighing.
"That is Nesor, one of the members of 'The Unknown' team." I answer honestly without adding any extra information.
"Why did he kiss your cheek?" He suddenly asks getting me to wonder how he knows.
Looking away, I bite the bottom of my lip, "It's just an old habit of his that used to do, before I came back."
"Came back?" he continues to question.
Finally angry at all his questions and curiosity which does not involve him, I take my wrist back nearly shouting, "It has nothing to do with you! So leave me alone!"
Right then, the door to the elevator opens, and I look up at him. Seeing his expression makes my whole body freeze once again.
Why? Why do I always make people have that expression?
The same went with Nesor.
"If that's what you want, then okay." Turning away, he walks out of the elevator before it closes again, leaving me alone.
Like always.
Hurt.
Depression.
Betrayal.
Heartbroken.
That was how they all looked like, with those handsome faces of theirs. Rubbing my temples from frustration, I give out another sigh.
Why?
Why do I always do this to others?
Having my hands covering my face, I take deep breathes again not wanting to break down or show emotions.
Come on Ciara, years of training and you're already breaking down in just a few minutes.
Groaning from my weakness and uselessness, I finally get back to my monotone self. Able to control myself from not breaking down, the elevator door opens.
Taking my step outside, another force pushes me back in, once again for the damn third time. Seeing Fian enter along, he turns to look at me before taking out a familiar piece of paper from his pocket.
"Care to explain?" He asks getting me to loudly groan inside my head.
Pointing my index finger up, I actually wonder why my life always have problems with me being the victim.
"First, break of the third rule of our team - no searching through other members' belongings without their consent." I point to the crumple paper, which was on my desk a few minutes ago but now he's holding it.
Looking up to the ceiling and slamming my head back on the elevator wall repeatedly, I ask, "Why. Is. It. Always. Inside. The. Fudging. Elevator?"
