"MUM- *cough*" I tried to scream I felt terrible I was coughing like there was no tomorrow my head was about to explode and my throat hurt like a bitch. soon I heard footsteps making their way up stairs until I heard my door open

"Mum please I can't go to school" I said

"What's wrong?" she asked

"My throat feels horrible, and head hurts like its about to explode in pieces" I said

"Let me check for a fever" she said putting her hand up to my forehead

"Baby your burning ill come back with some tea and some pills" she said rushing out

"Ugh thank you mum" I said with a genuine smile

After about 20 min my mum came back upstairs with a trey were she had tea, pills, and chicken soup which made everything better

"Thank you *cough* mum" I said

"No problem I called the school already and I called zayn" she said

"Oh uh thank you" I said with a smile

Soon I hear that recognizable engine and there was a knock on our door

"Mum it's zayn" I said

"I'll go open the door" she said soon I heard Zayn greet my mom and my mom greeting him "so were is she?" he asked

"Upstairs in her bed"i heard my mum answer and soon I heard footstep rush up here

"Hey love how are you feeling" he said coming over to me

"I've been better" I said and as soon as I finished that sentence I coughed

"You'll get better trust me baby" he said caressing my cheek he was now kneeled down beside and checking my forehead

"You have a fever you should really take a nap" he said

"I know I'm just going to finish my soup and tea" I said with a smile

"Yea, we'll I really have to go In a few minuets babe but if you want me to I'll stay" he said with a big smile

"As much as I'd love that my mum wouldn't like it" I said

"We'll whatever then ill just have to see you after school" he said he soon came over to me and leaned in for a kiss and I stopped him

"Not when I'm sick" I said coughing

"But babe" he whined

"No Z" I said

"Fine. on the cheek?" he asked

"Go ahead" I said and he then kissed me in my cheek and stood up

"Bye princess I'll be checking on you 24/7 so grab your phone" he said with a small smile

"Bye Malik" I said with a smile And he kissed me once more time but on my forehead and made his way out but soon after I got a text
