At least three days have past and now he was starting his days off. Not wanting to, he got up on instinct and made a bowl of cereal. It was early and he didn't realize this wasn't necessary and he could've slept in. He was quite tired and also didn't notice he was slowly falling asleep again, and nearly fell face first into the bowl.
"Sleep much?"
Yoongi startled Jungkook so much, he fell off his seat from jolting awake by the sudden sound. Even though he said this in a normal speaking voice...ish. Yoongi chuckled and sat down too.
Jungkook gave him a quick death stare while questioning why Yoongi was up, in his head.
"You woke me so I might as well stay up."
Yoongi knew Jungkook must be asking why his hyung that sleeps all the time was up so early. He was lying although.
The text he got from Jimin that she was arriving today came in early this morning. Jimin however went back to sleep after he sent it.
Jungkook was surprised Yoongi decided to stay awake instead of sleeping again. No matter what the circumstances.
They both sat around, Jungkook attempting to eat cereal properly and Yoongi trying not to fall asleep. Eventually,
Seokjin came around and made an egg with toast. Things were going smoothly and Jungkook wasn't suspicious of them. That is until Jimin came with Taehyung...
They were jumpy and excited, eager to scarf down breakfast then get dressed and await kookie's lovely girl. With all their jumping about Jungkook felt weirded out.
He was only gonna be home today and for the next week or so, what's so exciting about that? He decided to quickly eat his cereal and get dressed. Maybe taking a walk will help him.
"Oh great now you've scared kookie!"
Seokjin looked at Yoongi and his concern about this all. Knowing that it was bad if kookie was gonna ignore them all day, but Yoongi doesn't usually give a shit.
"Um...well when is she arriving?"
Seokjin asked in a low whisper. Jimin took his phone out and check his messages from the morning. His eyes widened and he looked at them. A smile slowly broke out anyways but they knew it was sooner then they thought.
"In 34 minutes!"
Their eyes widened and they were shocked by how much sooner it really was then they actually thought. Suddenly looking down at their clothes, they realized getting dressed may be a good thing.
Standing from their chairs, they ran to their rooms, finding something decent at least! Taehyung nearly ran over Jungkook when he walked into the room, ending up inches away from kooks face. Slightly blushing, Taehyung used this as a distraction for a bit, so Jungkook wouldn't leave them when she comes. He booped kook's cheek and blocked the door.
"Can I go?"
He said, booping Tae back. Shaking his head cutely, he again, poked kookie. Being the Maknae still, he wasn't heartless and a full grown man, So he poked Tae's nose. Then ran to the corner of his bed.
  Taehyung saw a pair of nice jeans sitting on kookie's table, and slipped them on over his boxers. Before diving into kookie's corner.
"Hey those are mi-"
Taehyung cut him off by booping his mouth. Being distracted again by this game, he chased Tae onto his bed. Leaving him no choice but to fall on him.
"Ow! You're supposed to boop me, not jump on me..."
He whined, kookie giggled and booped him then. Taehyung opened up a drawer while under kookie, and saw a button down (button up, button sideways, button other sideways, you get the point😂) shirt which was nice and black too.
He took it out then booped Jungkook off of him. Throwing off his bed shirt and hurriedly buttoning the new one. He took a shower and put on the essentials before breakfast, not needing to do anything but boop kookie now.
Jungkook laughed and wrestled Taehyung with boops.
"So are you gonna stop this game or...?"
Seokjins voice was heard from the door way and when they looked up, from their position on the floor, everyone was waiting for them to finish it up.
"Oh, hehe"
Tae chuckled cutely, making Jungkook blush slightly, suddenly realizing he was gonna go. They both got up, and proceeded out the door of their room. Sadly the hyungs ruined it and once Jimin was dressed he realized kookie was gonna abandon them.
They'd only taken up 17 minutes having a boop war, it was gonna be hard distracting him with something else, he was 19 now...
"Yah, kookie! Uh..."
Jimin got his attention, but didn't know what to do. Meh, it works. Jimin thought, then tackled kookie by tickling him. Being the baby of the house, he couldn't help exploding with laughter.
Jimin giggled and glanced at Taehyung to join in. Noticing they had to wait 14 more minutes, tickling kookie wasn't gonna cut it. Which was proved right because Jungkook squirmed away eventually.
Yoongi, for another odd reason, distracted kookie with a command.
He dragged him away to the kitchen and there he thrust him to the counter.
"Ever stop to think maybe I was having a good time?"
Jungkook asked trying to contain a little laughter.
"No, now make me toast!"
Yoongi shouted slightly at him, making him flinch. He looked at him as if he were being serious. They stood their ground. For a bit. That is until Yoongi begged.
"Pwease?"
"Gah, fine!"
They went through that little moment for about 3 minutes, meaning she should get here in approximately 11. Finding every possible way to make it take longer, Yoongi kept things going around his head.
"Aaaaah~ Jungkook those breads aren't good!"
Just as kookie was about to put one of the last pieces of bread into the toaster, Yoongi spurt out a lie. Jungkook rolled his eyes, then grabbed the new loaf. Just as he was about to open it, the door bell rang making him flinch and look up.
Yoongi jolted his head towards the doors direction. Jimin jumped up, and smiled hugely at Jungkook. Making him look at him questioningly. After that one moment, everything seemed to happen in slow mo.
He started opening the door and kookie's heart pounded, and he felt like everyone could hear it. Jimins smile made it this way. The other members grinned and bit their lips not containing their excitement.
Suddenly, the door opened fully, and in came her. The one thing Jungkook has waited nearly a year to see again. His eyes widened and happy tears filled his eyes and the bread fell from his hands.
He quickly ran to her and grabbed her, kissing her passionately. The other members grinned and jumped up and down excitedly.
This is why they made me take days off! Jungkook thought to himself, while kissing her still. Once they broke the kiss he saw the other members sitting on the couch, smiling at them to say thank you. Smiling back at him, Taehyung sat on Yoongi's lap once more. Then Jungkook looked back at her.
"I'm here~."
