Chapter 8 - Oh Boy!

  "What can I say? I have a sweet tooth." Luke chukled at me before grabing a bag of my favourite chips. I felt a smile grace my lips as I walk up to him.

   Just before I could snatch the chips from him,he held the chips up high. I was shorter than  Luke with a couple inches. I grumbled with a small smile before attempting to jump for the bag of chips.

  "GIVE EM!" Luke had a satisfiying smile on his face, "C'mon Tia,a little higher" Darn my small figure. I jump higher and higher. Not working.

   A sudden wild idea popped into my head. I smirked at him slyly,causing him to stare at me. Watching my every move in case I was to grab the bag of chips one more time.

I chuckled before tip-toeing and placing a quick kiss on his soft lips. Making him drop the bag of chips in surprise. As soon as he let go of the chips,I pulled away towards the counter. What a tease. I thought to myself,before I smiled in victory obviously pleased with myself.

  I turned around,surprised to still see Luke standing there in shock. As if he's seen an angel. I chuckled before placing my stuff on the counter.

  As the man checked out my items,and put them inside a plastic bag. I grabbed my wallet and payed for my food.

  I grabbed my bag,and stood in front of Luke. Admiring his figure. I snapped my fingers,and Luke seemed to be back. I laughed at him in amusement before pulling him out of the store.

  I continued walking before shortly being caught up by Luke. He was walking by my side,the walk back to the park was quiet. I threw in a few jokes and stories. When we finally reached the park,I sat down on the swing set, taking my chips out.

  I opened the bag and ate a few before offering some to Luke. He took some gladly before pulling my attention towards him.

  "Hey Tia..?" Luke said very slowly, "Yeah?" I asked looking at him. Paying full attention, "do you....uhh....." He stammered,before I took his hand in mine.

  He stared at our  hands for a brief moment before cupping my face,pulling me into a kiss. I gasped against his lips before kissing him back. I felt him smile,which caused me to smile back. I pulled away from our kiss, feeling a small very faint smile grace my lips.

  I wanted to say something, but I didn't want to ruin the moment. I did anyway, "what....what was that..?" I asked looking into his eyes,a deep red covered his cheeks.

  "I'm so sorry Tia...I have no idea what took over me." He looked scared but happy at the same time. I looked in to his eyes once more,I can see the lust in his eyes.

  "No,no,no. It's not that! It was just... unexpected is all." I said quickly realising what he just said. Was he really apologising for something that we both enjoyed? Cute.

  "Did....did you not enjoy it...? I'm so sorry!" Luke exclaimed before blushing a deep red once more. He was so red it looked worrying.

   "What?? No! I enjoyed it! A lot really! I..." I said reassuring him,I could tell he wasn't very tense anymore. He was slightly more relaxed.

  However I'm not sure entirely what's going on. But I'm starting to crave his kiss. I pulled him in to another passionate kiss, putting my arms around his neck,while his hands were on my waist.

   When we pulled away, we were both smiling. We  climbed up the play sets,sitting on the top where there were 2 tunnels to go down the slides. We looked at the view of the neighbourhood.

  I could see my house in the distance. "that's my house. Right there." I said,pointing to a house in the distance.

  Luke looked at me wide eyed, "that's your house? I live so close to you! Look my house is just a row behind you!" Luke said,pointing at a gray house in the distance.

   It was getting dark,we had to go back. Luke walked me back home,before planting a small quick peck on my cheek before winking at me and walking off in the distance.

  Don't ask me,what we are. I'm not sure myself. All I know is that I think I'm falling for my best friend.
