Chapter Four - Awkward Beginings

I went upstairs and went in my room. I grabbed one of my favourite books of all time, 'I Hate Myselfie' by Shane Dawson. I opened up the book to the page I was on. I read a lot.

Anyway, I looked at the time "Huh,7:30 not too surprised." I said to myself softly. I continued reading until I finished the chapter. Before I could turn the page, I got a text notification.

"Who could that be? Nobody texts me anymore. (Sadly)" I reached for my phone at the end of the bed. Got it. I turned on my phone and keyed in my password.

I pulled down the notification bar to see 2 messages from...Luke. I tapped on his notification,and I saw his text.

"Hey"
"Whatsup"

"Oh,hello."
"Nothing much. You?"

"Oh hey! Not much here either. Um I know this might be weird and all. But are you still friends with Kassie?"

"Uh yeah. Why..?"

"Well,I haven't heard from her in ages. She won't answer my calls or texts."

"Oh...oh...right...I'm sorry she didn't tell you,she's out on a family vacay."

"W-what? Wait,really? And she won't tell me herself? Huh...alright."

"I'll ask her to call you,if you want?"

"That would be great. Thanks. So uh,how are you? See now this is awkward."

"Heh I'm fine and what do you mean?"

"Nothing."

"Okay? Um anyways,I forgot to ask last time,what school do you go to?"

"I go to the school near 5th avenue. How about you?"

"5th avenue...? Same. Wait. Do we go to the same school?"

"Couldn't be. I would've seen you."

"Same here. Huh. Oh well."

"So I want to get to know you. What's your full name? Favourite song? Band? Artist? Fill me in."

And from there, we got to know each other better. Luke's a good guy. Turns out we have a lot in common.

Not to mention somewhat different  friend groups so if things get awkward,we can separate easily. I like em. He's nice,kind,caring,funny,AND he has green eyes. (Score)

I can't forget though. He's dating Kassie...wait what am I thinking?! I don't like him. No. No no. Off limits Tia. Off. I can't do that. Ugh whatever.

A few months had past. I still don't know where his school is. I haven't seen him. But I guess I don't really look around.

Anyways,and few months later Luke and I became really good friends. We'd chat everyday. Occasionally we'd text while we're in class,I never got caught doing so,but I think he did.

I'd look forward to talking to him. He'd wish me good morning and good night and add on the 'sleep tight,don't let the bed bugs bite" and he'd usually start the conversations.

I look at his profile picture from time to time,he's amazingly hot. You'd think I would have met one of my best friend's boyfriend right? Wrong. Kassie and I go to different schools. Maybe the same school with Luke? I don't know for sure. But I met Kassie in ballet school ages ago.

Luke has large green eyes with slight brown pieces here and there. And his jawline? He has a jawline carved by god. Like damn. He has chiseled abbs, and a perfectly toned...everything.

Don't ask how I know how he looks like that. He has a summer picture of himself shirtless. I can't help but look. It's nice eye candy. But yeah.

Besides his amazing body and face. He's 6.5 by the way. I know you may not belive me. He sounds like a freaking model. But nope.

Also to top it off,he can sing. And. Dance. Yes,he can dance and sing. And his humour is gold. He's smart too,he wears glasses sometimes which kinds of makes him even more attractive me to him. But it's not looks that matter. He makes me happy.

So we've been talking a lot now. And I really enjoy talking to her. She's funny,smart, humble,polite and well....gorgeous.

She has hazel eyes and light brown hair that shimmers in the sun. Kidding but I'm imagining her like that.

Based on her amazing profile pic, she's got this smile that makes your heart melt. And her dimples are adorable. She has freckles too! She's got style too.

She can sing,she can act,she can solve 100 math questions in less than 10 minutes! She's simply amazing. I love talking to her.
