Now not did Emuilo only feel black, he now only saw black too. Instead of staring into the black and fighting it, Emuilo surrendered himself to it. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and let the darkness swallow him. He let it take him, his breath slowing until he was one with the darkness.

Emuilo found himself looking out over a cliff, at the bottom was dark blue water. The water crashed against the cliff such as an angry animal against its cage. It was dark, Emuilo's only light the moon. He turned and looked to it with thanks. His eyes displaying an expression of complete gratitude for its assistance. After properly thanking the moon, Emuilo began to wander. He looked around and attempted to decipher his location. He took a great deep breath, taking in all that surrounded him. As he slowly stepped forward, looking over the cliff, he heard a crunch from beneath his feet. Emuilo stopped and looked down. he made no change in expression, none at all as he came to realize he was standing on human bones. Emuilo began pondering the death of the person. His mind became overwhelmed with possibilities. As he stood there on the cliff, a cold breeze kissed his cheek. The breeze swift, making a melodic sound as it ran through his hair. Ego sum insuperabile robur. Quod non potest impugnari et vicit. Nihil potest vincere me. Me tenebris tuis insaniam, causam demonstrabat mortis.  Emuilo heard the wind's song, understanding its enigmatic lyrics. That's when he looked to the bones and laughed. His laugh cruel. He came to a stop and grinned, then whispered to the darkness.

"He was an idiot! Thought he could win? HA!". Emuilo's tone so devious, a tone he'd never once used before. Ever. Regardless, it came to him so naturally.

Another chill breeze found Emuilo, filling his ears with another song. This song one carring words of congratulations. Bene est, fili mi. Ad quam quidem intellego te primum ingenii iunxit. Tu respuas. Sed dabis mihi. Et custodiam me unum. .... Iam puer exspectat. As Emuilo took in the soft lyrics, he smiled.

Emuilo obeyed the song. He leaned forward, a great expression of true happiness and comfort. His body began rapidly falling towards the raging water. The moment Emuilo came into contact with the water, it fell still. Engulfing the boy with cold, calming water. Emuilo slowly was pulled deeper into the water, showing no sign of fear, He trusted the wind's song. He trusted his new ally, welcoming them with open arms.
