Chapter 4

                                                                                CHAPTER 4 

                                                                     THE WOLF KINGDOMS

       "Flora, have you found students?", the dark wolf asked quietly.

      "Yes, my love", the gray wolf replied standing before him with three slightly smaller wolves behind her standing in a line bowing. "This is Reba", she said pointing to the largest of the three, an orange wolf with a dark gray muzzle and stomach. "He is unmatched in strength, the strongest in my class."

     "My lord", Reba said nodding his head, bronze eyes glinting in pleasure.

    "Good choice", the dark wolf said his eyes glowing red.

    "This is Swift", she said pointing to the smallest, a black she-wolf with blue eyes. "She is the fastest in the class, and has perfect aim."

    "My pleasure to serve, master", the little wolf said courteously, bowing.

    "And this is Raven", Flora said pointing to a sturdy black she-wolf with red eyes rimmed with black. "She is unafraid to get her paws dirty, has quick reflexes, and is quick at retaliating. Not to mention her senses are better than anyone else's in the class."

    "Master", she said her blood red eyes glinting with a murderous light.

    "All very good choices", he said looking from each wolf to the next. "I think it's time to test their skills." 

    "Let's hope they survive", he said laughing evilly, the sound echoing off the canyon walls.

       "What will we do? We can't just let this happen... Can we?", a yellow-ish cream colored pup said, his seriousness changing to sarcasm. 

       "Nyo, we have plans, but we might have to put them in action a little faster than we'd like. That force is growing stronger every day. And the Phoenix Holders are moving around too much, we have to keep them separated, or there will be reckoning", Nicua said harshly.

     "Nicua! Quit being rude. Nyo is new in these meetings. He doesn't know what is going on. Especially with the Phoenix Holders. Please be pleasant for once", Ruby said getting irritated, her amber eyes flashing.

    "Natsu is coming. There's a wolf with one pup with him", a red-ish brown pup with auburn eyes reported.

    "Thank you Faia. Please join our conversation. You know what's going on right?", Ruby asked.

    "Of course. I'm not exactly deaf when I'm on guard", Faia joked.

    Faia and Ruby both giggled. "Hello everyone", Natsu greeted as he entered the room.

   "Well, did she come or not?", Nicua said impatiently.

   "Keep your fur on. I told you she'd come and she has.", as he spoke a white she-wolf with ginger patches entered the room. A small sandy colored pup with a white belly trotted, tripping over himself, behind her. His brown eyes widened at all the wolves in the room. "Come along", the white she-wolf said gently nudging him forward.

    "This is Cosmic and her son Tycho. They have come a long way from the Kingdoms", Natsu said. Cosmic lifted her head proudly at the mention of the Kingdoms, her blue eyes shining.
