Chapter 30: You Need to Talk to Him

Jeonghan's p.o.v.

"I have to find out what's wrong with Joshua." I said to S.coups a few days after our first promotion.

"I'm sure if it was really bothering him he'd tell you." He said. "He probably just doesn't want to talk about it."

"I'm sure if he didn't want to talk about it, he wouldn't have mentioned it to us." I said. "I want to ask him about it but I'm not sure how."

"I don't know!" S.coups yelled, sounding annoyed. "Just go ask him."

"I get that you're stressed about your family but you don't have to take it out on me." I said, standing up from the couch. "Come talk to me when you won't yell at me for being concerned about my best friend."

"Jeonghan wait." S.coups said but I didn't and just walked out of the room.

I felt bad for leaving but I just continued to my bedroom. When I entered, Joshua was sitting on his bed and he looked deep in thought.

I walked over and slowly sit down in front of him. He looked up as the bed moved and he gave me a small, sad smile.

"What's wrong?" I asked but he didn't say anything. "Is it still what was upsetting you the other day?"

He nodded. "I don't know what to do."

"Talk to me about it." I said and moved closer to him. "You can trust me."

Joshua thought for a minute before speaking. "I-I think I like someone. Someone who isn't you."

"Really?" I asked, surprised he found someone so quickly. "Who is it?"

Joshua was silent again for awhile. "It's Dokyeom."

I sat shocked for a minute. "Really? How does he feel?"

Joshua shook his head. "I'm to afraid to tell him and I don't even know if I actually like him or I just think I do."

"You should talk to him." I encouraged him. "You'll never know if you like him or not unless you try. If you just stay inside your head you'll over think everything."

"I know but I'm to afraid to talk to him." Joshua said before sighing. "What should I do? I don't think he actually likes me. Yeah we had sex but that was only because we wanted to get over the people we couldn't have. I don't think I was supposed to get feeling for him."

"Whether you should have or not, if you did there's nothing you can do now." I told him. "You need to talk to him."

"Will you go with me?" Joshua asked. "To talk to him?"

"If you need me to be there, then yes, I'll come." I said and he looked a little relived. "When did you want to do it?"

"Now?" He asked. "I'd like to stop feeling so crappy from over thinking all of this."

"I'll go find Dokyeom and bring him here." I said and stood from the bed. "Get your thoughts together and I'll be back with him."

"Thank you Jeonghan." Joshua said with a happier smile. "You're a really good friend."

I smiled back before heading out if the room, in search of Dokyeom. I went to the living room and saw he sitting in there on his phone. S.coups was also still in the room.

"Dokyeom." I called and he looked up from his phone. "Could I talk to you for a second, in our room?"

"Sure." Dokyeom nodded and started making his way to our room.

As I was starting to leave, S.coups spoke.

"Jeonghan." He called sadly, making me feel a little guilty.
