Danganronpa Oneshots

Idk what to call this but it's Komamiki (Oneshot)

This is set in island mode because that's where I got the idea... also I know my titles are amazing.

It was a bright, sunny day as usual on Jabberwock Island, and Mikan found herself with nothing to do. It was the students' day off, and everyone had either gone off with their new friends or wanted to be alone.

Mikan sat in the hotel's restaurant all on her own. She wasn't surprised that no one seemed to like her, though she couldn't help but feel a little left out- Hiyoko hadn't even bothered to bully her that morning.  Was she really that bad? What was she doing wrong?

"Hey, Mikan?" The nurse quickly looked up to see Nagito standing over her with a friendly smile on his face.

"Y-yes? D-did I do something wrong? I-I'm sorry!" Mikan automatically apologized, after all, why would Nagito bother talking to her if it wasn't something she'd done?

"No, no, not at all!" Nagito responded with a small laugh. "I was just wondering if you wanted to go check out the amusement park with me."

Mikan was shocked, she wasn't expecting this strange boy to be so nice. He probably just can't find anyone else to go with, but still...

"O-of course! That sounds fun." Mikan responded with a small smile. She couldn't help but feel happy inside, it wasn't often that she got positive attention.

The two arrived at the amusement park, and were walking around the island together side by side. Mikan was glad that this wasn't just some prank, and Nagito genuinely wanted to spend time with someone like her.

Suddenly, they stopped, and Nagito turned to face Mikan with a small smile. "So, what ride do you wanna go on?" He asked.

"M-me?" Mikan replied, and the ultimate lucky student nodded. "Um... w-well, I've never been to a place like this before... but I've always wanted to ride the carousel..."

Nagito's face lit up at her words. "The carousel is great! It's probably the safest ride, nothing can go wrong- unless it explodes."

"E-explodes?!" Mikan exclaimed, but Nagito ignored her worried response, instead he grabbed her hand and led her over to the ride. The nurse's cheeks turned pink, and all her concern melted away at his touch.

They got onto the ride, sitting on the ceramic horses next to each other. Mikan reluctantly let go of Nagito's hand to hold onto the bar in front of her. As the ride started, Mikan couldn't help but smile- this was some of the most fun she's had in her life!

The two teenagers spent the rest of the day hanging out at the amusement park, and by the time they decided to head back the sky had grown dark.

"Th-thanks for asking me out, Nagito." Mikan said with a smile as they were walking back to their cottages. "I had so much fun today... i-if you don't mind, I'd like to do it again sometime!"

"Of course! You don't know how happy it makes me that you actually enjoyed spending time with me, I really don't deserve it." Nagito replied with an equally happy smile. "It makes me a little scared though... with all this good luck I've been having, something terrible is bound to happen soon."

Mikan was a little confused, but by now she had learned that Nagito really was a confusing person. "W-well, if you end up getting hurt, I'll definitely help you!"

"Thanks, Mikan." Nagito paused for a second before continuing, "I don't think I'll mind being hurt if it means I'll have the ultimate nurse taking care of me."

Mikan blushed a little at his words, and realized they had arrived at the hotel cottages. "I-I guess I'll... see you tomorrow." She stated, "goodnight, Nagito."

"Goodnight, Mikan." Nagito replied.

And so, they went their separate ways.
