"The bottoms of my shoes are covered in rainbow..." Maddalene said after stepping off the Bifrost and noticing a trail of rainbow-colored footprints behind her. "Does this always happen, or is the bridge just muddy today?"
"I don't know" Damion said, looking at his shoes and then the gigantic golden city before them. "I've never been here before."
Thor caught up to them and looked at the footprints as well. "Well it is a rainbow bridge, one would expect it to be wet"
"Fair enough" Maddalene shrugged, deciding it would be better not to question anything Norse related. The more you thought about it, the weirder it got.
"Does anyone know where we are now?" Asked Verblassen trying to get the rainbow coloring off her shoes.
"Just outside the entrance to Asgard." Thor answered with a smile as he was now looking at the golden city. He turned to Jack and Damion. "So, would you like me to guide you, or can you navigate Asgard on your own?"
"I think we'll be fine on our own now Lord Thor." Said Jack pushing Thor back on Bifrost, while everyone in the group secretly wished Thor would be on his way.
"Fair enough, but there are some places I think you should check." Thor suggested, pulling out a pop tart and taking a bite.
They boys nodded, thinking that it might be a good idea to at least consider Thor's advice.
"Great." Thor smiled and pointed towards the left side of the city. "First would probably be the Asgardian Mountains. There's no telling what is out there. Who knows, you might find something else along the way." Thor then pointed to the right. "Another good place to look would be The Cave of Time. Just try to avoid going in, because then you might get stuck in another time. I still haven't been able to find my goat...." He frowned and then pointed more towards the center. "And lastly, Loki's Castle. If anything valuable is missing, it usually finds its way into Loki's possession, whether by chance, or it being stolen. Also, while you're there, see if you can find my scepter. I have a feeling Loki took it."
"We'll make sure to keep an eye out for it. Thanks for all your help" Jack said.
Thor smiled and nodded before taking another bite of his pop tart and walking off.
Once he was gone, Damion and Maddalene sighed in relief while Jack kept looking at the huge city of Asgard.
"Well, what now? We've got an entire city to search for three shards of Nifrite" Jack asked, wondering where they should start.
"We could split up or start on one side of the city first" Verblassen suggested feeling a bit lost seeing the city they had to search for three small shards.
Damion hummed in thought. "I guess split up. It'd be faster that way. Me and Maddalene could start on the left side and you and Jack could start on the right. We'll eventually meet up in the middle, and hopefully we'll have found the shards by then."
"Okay, sounds good" Jack said, smiling at Verblassen, while Maddalene just blushed and looked at Damion.
"Alright then, let's go. The sooner we start; the sooner we'll be able to find the shards." Damion said, grabbing Maddalene's arm and heading towards the left.
"H-hey!! Let go of my arm!" Maddalene protested, slightly red in the face as she was pulled away and walked with Damion.
At the same time, Verblassen smiled, musing at how adorable Maddalene looked, and after that she took Jack's hand, pulling him towards the right side of the city. "Let's get started as well Jack!" She said slightly blushing but covering it up with a bright smile.
Jack blushed and laughed a bit, holding Verblassen's hand as they walked.
