The denizen fell dead, releasing it's cache of grist, I felt great as I rushed around gathering the fallen loot.

I was checking for any unnoticed grist when a hand touched my shoulder.

Whipping around I froze and stared, my wand shaking in my hand. There was another troll in front of me, but it wasn't anyone from my session.

He was a rather large troll, a foot and a half or so larger than me and neither lean nor bulky, but somewhere in-between.

His shirt was soaked with blood, pure violet and stiff. His eyes were milky pale versions of an adult troll's. Scars webbed away from his temples. Both his fins and his mouth were crusted with more blood.

What truly struck me were the larger versions of my own horns set on his head.

Even the rings on his fingers were bloody.

I snapped to attention when he nudged my shoulder again.

"Hi?" I said watching his face.

He smiled flashing a mouth full of shark teeth. I flinched away only to get a hurt, confused look.

"Are you alright?" I asked him, only receiving a blank stare.

He watched me for a moment before slowly lifting his hands and covering my fins so everything was muted. He pulled back his hands then lowered one to cover my mouth and place a finger to his lips.

"You're... Oh," He couldn't answer me or even hear me.

I needed to get him back to the others, maybe Kanaya could help me clean him up.

I held out a hand and he curled his larger hand around mine, he acted very child-like compared to what I expected.

I began to lead him back to the base and sent out a quick group message asking everyone to meet in the main room and bring as much first aid stuff as they could find. I shut off the messages before the influx started.

Karkat was waiting in the room puffed up and glaring. He froze and stared when he saw me lead a mostly grown troll in by the hand.

"Oh Dear," Kanaya breathed before rushing forward.

She took his hand, he watched everyone in what seemed like awe. She smiled gently and tilted his head up.

She soon had everyone rushing around, slowly cleaning away blood and grime. She even got his shirt off and had Nepeta go off to get the blood out of it.

Kanaya pulled out a set of clothes that would fit him, when he went back to change Karkat dragged me along to the hallway.

"WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU FIND HIM? I THOUGHT ALL THE OTHER TROLLS DIED ON PLANET? WHO IS HE?" Karkat growled lowly.

"He wwas in the Denizens cave, he just sort of wwalked up and tapped me on the shoulder, I didn't knoww wwhat else to do. Oh and he's deaf and mute," I said full volume.

His eyes got wide and he huffed a little, "HE'S ALMOST FULL GROWN, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT US TO DO WITH HIM?"

"Do wwith him? He's not a pet or some shit Kar, he's an injured troll that is literally incapable of caring for himself," I was upset, "I'll wwatch him, but he won't be any trouble he's alone and confused."

"I KNOW HE'S NOT A PET ERIDAN, BUT WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL, HE MIGHT BE SOME FUCKED UP TRICK BY THE GAME. I THINK YOUR SO PITYING BECAUSE HE'S YOUR DANCESTOR," He rolled his eyes.

I rolled my eyes back, "So what? He's not gonna do nothin' Kar."

He sighed and we walked back into the room only to see Kanaya humming and trimming his wild hair, she was leaving it a decent length though.

His horns had been polished and were wickedly sharp. Vriska had ahold of one of his hands and was sharpening his claws.

"... I SOMEWHAT HATE YOU RIGHT NOW," Kar groaned.

"Aww, Kar I didn't knoww you felt that wway," I teased.

"... NOT NOW YOU NOOKSTAIN LOOK AT HIM," He groaned.

"Oh," I whispered.
