Sorry this one is really short I like leaving you guys with a cliffhanger! I'll post another chapter later!

-----•••••-----•••••-----•••••-----Jared drives further into the driveway. I see it even clearer now. My whole house is in flames. Jared parks the car around the corner. We all get out.

I start running towards the house. An investigator stops me. "It's my house-" I say crying again.

"I'm sorry. You can't go in," he says sternly.

"I know," I say tears slowing. I saw this coming. The house, 'Michael,' everything. But how?

I brush it off and notice that Jared and John are standing right next to me. They are back into their suits again, the same ones that they were wearing in the Cafe.

"FBI," Jared says and he shows him their badges.

"Okay, wait, let me see your badges again," The local officer says.

John and Jared show him the badges again. The officer studies them closely, and approves them. So are they FBI agents and hunters? I'm confused.

"So, what do the Feds want with a house fire?" The officer says.

"Are you questioning the authority of our boss?" Jared says all defensive-like.

"As a matter of fact yes I am," he replies.

John hands him a business card with their boss on it. The officer walks a few steps away and dials the number on his cell. An older man picks up the phone and says "FBI D.C headquarters. How may I help you?"

"I was calling about agent Murdox and Cameron," he replies.

"Are you questioning my authority?" He yells through the phone.

Wow, he's a hothead. I think.

"Sir, I can explain-"

"Well don't even try. Don't call back again. My boys are there for a reason. Don't ever question my authority." The old man says.

The officer hangs up, and walks over to the brothers apologizing for questioning them. The brothers say "It's okay," and continue walking. I try to follow them. But the officer stops me again. "The rules haven't changed since the Feds are here little girl. You still can't go past here."

"She's with us!" John yells.

"I thought we got that point across!" Jared continues.

"Okay," the officer says, sounding kind of discouraged like he just lost his cat.

John reaches into the pocket of his sleek black blazer and pulls out an EMF detector. Now I'm really confused. Who are these two?

"No EMF," John says.

"What is that smell?!?" I yell disgusted.

"Sulfur...," the brothers say in unison.
