Liah's POV

It seems like this day is going by so slow. Liam and Niall are behind me, kicking the chair with their feet. I try not to put to much attention to it, but it doesn't seem to work, but I'm to scared to look back.

The class finally ends, and I wait in my seat so I won't get pushed and pulled on my way out. Once I made sure everyone is gone, I pack all my stuff. I turn around and find Niall sitting in his chair, looking at me.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, slightly terrified.

"I was waiting for you," he said. I was shocked at what he said. Niall is only here for revenge, and I am not going to fall for it.

"Why?" I asked terrified.

"Because, um, I wanted to talk to you?" he said, but came out more as a question.

"What for?" I kept questioning. I wanted to know why all of a sudden he wants to talk to me. If he is going to play games, I might as well get something out of it.

He looked up to me, but not meeting my eyes. He looked anywhere, but not my eyes. I thought I saw some emotion in them, but it was all blank.

"Huh, I came here to apologize for what I did to you," he spilled out. I looked at him at shock first, but then made a chuckle.

"You seriously think I would believe that!" I spat. He raised his hand, and I immediately flinch away. I knew he was going to hurt me. When I didn't feel a hit, I opened my eyes very slowly. What I was hoping to find was a smirk and an evil look, but instead I found a Niall on the verge of tears.

"You thought I was going to hit you?" he asked in shock.

Niall's POV

I can't believe she thought I was going to hit her. I know I might have hit her all the time, but I was being honest this time. I know I shouldn't be showing emotions over this, but I can't control it anymore.

"You thought I was going to hit you?" I asked, feeling the tears trying to slip away.

"Well yeah, it would be a surprise if you didn't," she whispered, still looking scared.

"Liah, I know you don't believe me, but trust me when I say this. I am so sorry for what I did to you. I never thought I could hurt you like this, but I had a reason. I know that's not a valuable excuse, but please believe me when I say this. I am really, really sorry. If I could take that all back, I would. Liah, I-I love you," I said with sincere.

By now, she looked up to me in shock. I can tell she doesn't believe me, but some parts of me wish she can.

"I, uh, have to go. Stay away from me Niall, please!" she said, leaving straight away. I sighed, getting my book pack and leaving. I headed for my next class and bit back the tears that threaten to fall.
