Air Catcher (intro two)

I hate this. Having to stay after, to watch these dumb dicks after school. They're particularly dumb adults. I can't really blame them, I'm not much better.

I wish I could let them go and say they escaped to go to the firework show. But they wouldn't keep they're mouths shut if it meant them getting in trouble.

The clock hits 8:15 and I stand. "Out." The three boys leave in a hurry and I get on with what I usually do. I go to my desk and grab a pack of fags. I exit my room, hiding them in my blazer pocket. I go to the elevator and click the very top floor.

I straighten my bow tie and exit off when the doors open. Taking out my lighter, I pull out a wrapped killer. I stick the nicotine to my lips and proceed to give it life.

I puff out a bit before I get a feeling of someone watching me. I frown and looks to my left. No one. My right. A dark brown haired boy, clothes in jeans and a jacket. Dark colors. I don't immediately feel threatend, so I watch him. His eyes scan over me, before turning and watching the fireworks. I resume my original position and blow out some more smoke.

Finally the mysterious boy speaks. "Do you work here?" I glance back and flick off some ashes. "Yeah, this is hell." He nods and clicks his feet on the edge of the building. I'm not very sure why he is sitting with his feet over the edge. Was he trying to jump off? I wouldn't blame him.

"I wouldn't except someone like you to work here." "Why's that." I ask trying to avoid the questions he throws at me. "Someone that looks like a playboy stripper shouldn't be working at a school." I choke a little on the smoke and start sputtering. "What." I manage out.

"Your hot, anyone with eyes that work can see that." He lifts his shoulders and tilts his head to left, watching something in the distance.
"Can I ask for your name kid." I'm immediately drawn in by his bratty attitude. He looks over and smiles. "The names Jack."
