Isn't She Lovely

Dan's POV

"Is this Dan Howell?" Someone asked.

"Um... Yes... Who is this?" I questioned. 

"This is London Hospital. A Phil Lester went into labor and asked us to call you", She said. 

I hung up and took off. 

Phil and I have been married for 6 years. We have wanted kids for as long as we have been together. 

We finally got lucky on our 6 year anniversary. We had discovered he was pregnant and it was the greatest day of our life... until now. 

I pull up to the hospital and I go straight to the information desk. 

"My name is Dan Howlter, I'm here for Phil Howlter", I said, out of breath. 

She told me it was room 211 and I ran. 

I burst through the door to see Phil holding a little pink bundle. 

"Dan", Phil smiled. 

"Its a girl?" I whispered. 

He nodded.

I walked over and sat next to him. I looked down at this little baby and cried.

"Why are you crying?" Phil whispered. 

"We have tried for a baby for so long, Phil... We finally have a baby. A little girl. Our Princess", I sobbed. 

I put my hand next to our daughters hand and she wrapped her little fingers around my index finger... She was so beautiful... my little girl. 

"I named her", Phil whispered. 

"What did you choose?" I asked, not taking my eyes off of my daughter. 

"Allyson Kamryn Howlter", Phil answered. 

"I love it... It's perfect for her", I kissed his forehead. 

"Do you want to hold her?" Phil asked me. 

I nodded, quickly. 

He put Allyson in my arms and adjusted her to make sure she was perfect. 

She looked at me with her light blue eyes. 

"She has your eyes", I whispered, mesmerized by our little girl. 

"Yeah... she has your hair", He informed me, pulling off the little pink hat slowly. 

He was right. Ally had a little bit of brown hair. 

"She is so beautiful", Phil whispered, putting his head on my shoulder. 

"She is", I sighed.

"Hey Dan", Phil murmured. 

"What?" I asked, looking at him. 

"We are a family", Phil chuckled. 

"We are a family, Phil... and I love our family."

"Isn't she lovely", Phil whispered. 

"Isn't she beautiful?" I whispered back.
