Part 11: Not Again...!

P.O.V. Aphmau

"Aphmau, meha, how was the sleepover?"
"It was great mom"
I smile and hug my mother. Even if I can be mad at her sometimes, she's still my mom. I love her really much.
"I'm going upstairs and tidy everything in my bag"
I say and let go of my mom. She nods and I sprint upstairs towards my room. When I close the door behind me I throw my bag somewhere in the corner of my room and let myself fall down on the bed.

I'm kinda glad Laurance discovered about the SK things. But what if they find out...? Will they do something to me...?! I sigh and grab my phone. No texts... Maybe they stopped. I hope so...!
I sigh again. This is such a mess... Maybe I should text Laurance, just to feel better.

P.O.V. Laurance

After Aphmau showed me those texts I'm sure of it: Gene is doing this. Those texts said they were from SK... And SK means Shadow Knights. That stupid gang Gene made. Gene, Sasha and Zenix... The Shadow Knights. Ugh. Why would they threaten Aphmau?! I swear, if they hurt her...
Angry I walk through the park. I don't have such good memories of this place, but it's still comforting to just walk here. Suddenly Aphmau texts me.

Aphmau❤️: hi
You: hey, how u doing?
Aphmau❤️: I'm ok, you?
You: same
You: any sign of SK?
Aphmau❤️: nope
Aphmau❤️: I hope they'll just leave me alone...
You: they will, and until then I'll be there to protect you
Aphmau❤️: says the person who fell out of a tree😂
You: THE BRENCH BROKE
You: IT WASNT MY FAULT
Aphmau❤️: you just shouldn't have climbed that tree
You: still not my fault
Aphmau❤️: suuuuureeeee...
You: btw, I'm at the park. If ur bored you can come😜
Aphmau❤️: Kay, I'll ask my mom
You: kk, cyaa❤️
Aphmau❤️: cya💗

P.O.V. Aphmau

As soon as Laurance asked me to come to the park I ran downstairs to ask my mom if I could go. Luckily she said yes. As fast as I can hurry to the park, excited to see Laurance.

When I arrive I go to 'our' tree. There I see Laurance standing against the tree, talking to someone. The person has something in his hands... I don't know what. But when I'm almost there, Laurance notices me and screams:
"APH, RUN"
Before I understand what's happening I see who the person is he was talking to: Gene. He turns around and my heart skips a beat when I see a gun in his hands. No... This can't be happening...! Is Gene going to kill us?! When I realize what Laurance said Gene already pointed the gun at me.
"Well hello Kitty..."
He smirks and walks towards me. Goose bumps are all over my body and I'm shaking because I'm scared. He grabs me and pulls me towards me by my arm. Hopeless I look at Laurance, who bites his lips in anger. Gene puts one of his arms underneath my head so I can't get away. He points the gun at Laurance.
"NO"
I scream while tears start to flow down my cheeks. I try to push Gene's arm away with my hands but I can't get out. Gene smirks when he sees me cry.
"Stop! Please!"
I scream and again try to get out.
"Do you want to have the first bullet Kitty?"
Gene laughs and puts the gun against my head. More tears fall down my cheeks and I close my eyes, scared of what's coming.
Suddenly I hear footsteps and Gene's arms let me go. Then I hear a gunshot. Scared I open my eyes and see Gene on the ground with his hand on his head. But when I look behind me I see Laurance in pain. He's holding his arm and his hands are covered in blood.
"NO"
I scream and hurry towards him. I kneel down and start crying when I realize Laurance got shot. He opens his eyes and he has a painful look on his face. I help him sit down against the tree. I hug him carefully and mumble:
"It's okay, I'll call an ambulance, and-"
But before I can finish my sentence I hear a grumpy noise behind me. When I look behind me I see Gene getting up.
